She takes up the role of an adolescent who lives with her sister in the same apartment as Jeo. Ellie and her sister come from a troubled background and try to find their place in the world. In the beginning Elie and Joe hit it off as friends for the same building, and she even saw him as a mentor.

Later in the series she however unravels the dark history of Joe and believes he is not the guy he portrays to be. This time Joe seems compassionate enough to let Elie live, he offers her money to move away from the city and start a new life.
