Actress, Jenna Ortega keeps drawing viewers in and holding their interest with her extraordinary talent in the constantly changing acting world that is today. She has no doubt experienced a roller-coaster especially in the social media but does that mean she will lose her top spot as the top Cinema & Actors/Actresses Influencers on Instagram?

She has been ranked as number 4 according to the HypeAuditor, a clear increase from her position at the 5^th spot. She worked hard for years to perfect her trade, and it took years for her to rise to the top of the rankings. According to the Daily Mail, Ortega rose to fame drastically after staring in the Netflix series hit show Wednesday, a spinoff of the Addams family. She played the role of Wednesday Addams, the teenage daughter with a dark and gothic role.

She has won praise for her extraordinary talent in the show and she consequently gained over 1 million followers within 24 hours after the show was released in November 2022. With a few scandals in between such as the time she was called toxic and entitled by TV producer, Steven DeKnight and now the smoking controversy.

The toxicity calling begun after she disclosed, while speaking in the Armchair podcast, that she was very adamant on changing the scripts of some of the series Wednesday. She said that she became, 鈥渁lmost unprofessional鈥� in the set, 鈥淚 don鈥檛 think I ever had to put my foot down on a set in a way that I had to on Wednesday because it鈥檚 so easy to fall in that category, especially with this type of show.鈥�

She didn’t let the decline in the rankings define her; instead, she used it as inspiration to work harder, hone her abilities, and demonstrate her mettle. This year, she has done so many movies including Scream VI, upcoming projects that she is working on such as Wednesday 2, Beetlejuice 2, Miller鈥檚 Girl, Finestkind and many others.

Her unwavering commitment to keeping herself at the top serves as a potent reminder of the fortitude and resiliency needed to succeed and the released ranking agree as well. Jenna maintains her dedication to her work despite her on-going success and the difficulties she has encountered.  

Despite dropping in the rankings of actors and actresses, she has been more than able to keep her position at the top thanks to her perseverance and talent. Even so it is a motivating example of how obstacles can be turned to success.
