A rare spectacle awaits visitors in the Vineyards of Prague. From Saturday, May 25, 2024, to Sunday 26, Prague Vineyards will be open to the public. Both municipal and private vineyards will take part in the exercise. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The occasion is dubbed the Prague Vineyard event organized by the capital city of Prague. There will be guided walks at the different Prague vineyards. Presentations of individual vineyards explaining their production will also be available.

This initiative aims to spread awareness of Prague’s vineyards to a large audience. It also seeks to inform the public of the rich history of these vineyards and their journey to the present day. According to the organizers, it will also be a chance to highlight the authenticity and uniqueness of wines from these locations.

Visitors can expect to taste different flavors directly from the place of their origin. Besides, many of these vineyards are in unique locations categorized as heritage-protected areas. Thus, they are inaccessible to the public on regular days. This opportunity will provide attendees with extraordinary views of the city.

Some of the Participating vineyards will include the Vineyards of the Strahov Monastery in Hrad膷any and the historic Vinice Gr茅bovka in Vinohrady. Also, Lysolajsk谩 vinice in Lysolaje, and Mod艡ansk谩 vinice in Mod艡any. Moreover, visitors can head to Salabka, a restaurant and vineyard in Troja, Svatojansk谩 vinice in Hrad膷any, and St. Wenceslas vineyard in Mal谩 Strana.

Vinice Albertov in Nov茅 M臎sto, and Vinice Baba in Dejvice, will also be explored. Besides, guests can immerse themselves in the charm of Vinice Machalka in Prosek, and Vinice Kelerka in Proseck谩, opposite the Dobrouck媒 pension.

Not to forget Vinice na V铆tkov in 沤i啪kov, Vinice Vy拧ehradsk茅 kapituly and Vy拧ehradsk茅 vinice in Vy拧ehrad. Also, Vinice Pod Vy拧ehrad in Podol铆, and Palata Vineyard in Sm铆chov. Furthermore, Zilvarovy vinice, Vineyards of St. Kl谩ry, and Jablo艌ka Vineyard, all three in Troja.
