Acclaimed Fado singer Ricardo Ribeiro will grace the stage of Lisbon’s Centro Cultural de Belém on 11th April 2024, for a captivating performance of his latest album. This concert is part of the ‘Há Fado no Cais” cycle, which usually features both established and up-and-coming artists. This series of Fado concerts is organized by the Centro Cultural de Belém and the Museu do Fado (Fado Museum).

Ribeiro is one of the most notable contemporary artists in the world of Fado. He is known for his heartfelt interpretations of the genre. Deeply influenced by legend Fernando Maurício, Ribeiro debuted at a young age and has since released acclaimed albums like “Porta do Coração (2010)” (door of the heart). The latter topped national sales at 5th place.

The upcoming concert will focus on his latest album “Terra Que Vale o Céu,” (Land worth the sky) which has been quoted as a reflection of his return to Fado’s roots. Ribeira’s dedication to traditional Fado styles, coupled by his powerful vocals make him stand out as one of the leading voices in the genre. He has performed extensively in Portugal, across Europe, and all over the world.

For Fado lovers, the concert is a great opportunity to witness his masterful performances and the magic of Fado come alive. Ticket sales are on and visitors can check them out on the official Museu de Fado
