Summer is almost at its end, but no need to sulk yet.  There’s good news for those dreaming of escaping the winter blues in London. British Airways has announced that it will soon introduce flights from London to Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur. After a hiatus due to the pandemic, travelers can once again look forward to soaking up the sun on the sandy beaches of Thailand or immersing themselves in the vibrant culture of Malaysia.

Starting from October, British Airways will offer three flights per week to Bangkok from Gatwick. Travelers will be able to access daily flights to Kuala Lumpur from Heathrow Airport starting in November.

Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur offer something for everyone, besides the warm weather. Bangkok offers a tantalizing blend of ancient culture and modern metropolis. Explore the iconic Grand Palace and Wat Pho, indulge in world-class shopping on Siam Square, or savor the city’s renowned street food scene. For relaxation, head to the pristine beaches of Phuket or Koh Samui.

Kuala Lumpur is a dynamic city where tradition meets modernity. Discover the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, immerse yourself in the vibrant cultural scene at Chinatown and Little India, or escape the city for a jungle adventure in Taman Negara National Park.

You can book your flight to these Asian destinations from the So, pack your swimsuit, grab your passport, and get ready to escape the winter chill.
