As of September 2014, when Wisconsin native Andrew Boldt, 21, was fatally shot in the basement of a Purdue University building housing electrical engineering, Chheda鈥檚 death marks the first homicide to occur on campus since that time. According to the Purdue Exponent, a classmate named Cody Cousins was found guilty of murder in the incident. Later, cousins committed suicide while incarcerated.
