10 Things to Know About Mikey Heverly From America’s Next Top Model

Mikey Heverly is a model and actor best known for his appearance on the 22nd cycle of America’s Next Top model. He impressed the judges with his chiseled features and impressive physique ultimately making it to the top 6. At the age of 18, Mikey started modeling. He relocated to New York when he was 19 to advance his profession. 

At his auditions, Mikey gave the judges a description of his impoverished origins and his status as the sole guy in his family who has never been incarcerated. His survival on the runway made him the twelfth model.

He was well known for being close friends with Devin and for flirting with nearly all of the female residents. The DMA clique was rapidly established by him, Ashley, and Devin. Mikey never made their relationship formal, despite Ashley having feelings for him. In the scene of the bound-in-pairs picture session in episode three, he soothed Courtney.

1. Michael Heverly, commonly known as Mikey Heverly, took part in cycle 22 of ANTM in 2015

Mikey began modeling at the age of 18. He moved to New York when he was 19 in order to develop his career. Mikey explained to the judges during his auditions how poor his family was and how he was the only man in his family who had never been incarcerated. He was the twelfth model to emerge from the shipping container runway.

He was well known for his strong friendship with Devin and for flirting with almost all of the female residents. He, Devin, and Ashley formed the DMA clique very quickly. Despite Mikey having feelings for Ashley, they never exchanged vows.

He finished third with Lacey and lost to Nyle in the championship match.

2. Mikey continued with modeling after the show

After the performance, Mikey signed deals with Miami’s Major Models, NEXT Model Management, and One Management. He remains a staff member of the latter company in 2022. He has modeled for Peyman Umay, Ace.ybm, CAZAL Legends Sunglasses, Babak Vosoughi, R. Youell Fashion, Nair Alexander, Monat Gear, and Zeitgeist Menswear. In Spanish Vogue, British GQ, Maxim Italia, and Glamour, he has made an appearance.

3. Mikey’s girlfriend is Alexie Picariello

Alexie was born and raised in South Florida, went to American Heritage High School in Plantation, attended college in Boston and Tallahassee, and then decided to work for her mother’s business, I Do. After working diligently for more than three years, Lexie and her team launched Romance by SitInMySeats, a division of Sit In My Seats, VIP Tickets, and Travel & Concierge Services. Her company’s core competency is providing the same experiences for various romantic getaways and celebrations.

In a “Temptation Island” audition episode from 2019, Mikey and Alexie Picariello could be seen together.

4. Murdashells is the name of his own brand of handcrafted seashell jewelry

There are what seems like a limitless number of ways that shells can be used to enhance and embellish people’s lives. They can be used in design to highlight structures, fabrics, furniture, and various home objects. They can also be used as the basis for making practical items and tools. But using them to make jewelry to adorn people’s bodies has probably had the longest history and is the most common in human civilization.

Each necklace has a simple, organic pattern, and the shells are either perforated or cut and strung.

5. He dated Monique Weingart in 2015, and the two of them had appeared in photos together

He calmed Courtney while she was at the location of the photo shoot for episode three of Bound in Pairs. Later, he discussed her weight behind her back. As a result, she started crying, and Mikey gaslighted her.

In episode five, he and Ashley were murmuring to one another late at night, which caused Bella to become agitated and resulted in their physical conflict. He later won the retouching competition and chose to share the dinner prize with Devin. Courtney later confessed to Ava that he and Devin had been making fun of her during an argument between the three of them about Courtney’s war veteran photo. He and Mamé took part in Whitney Thompson’s photographic challenge in the sixth episode of the series. It caused Justin, Mamé’s boyfriend, to grow jealous.

In episode 10, he won the initial call-out for the music video for “Bootyful.” In episode twelve, he starts to feel things for both Hadassah and Mamé, and Devin jokes that it was his flirting with Ashley that got Ashley kicked out. Their relationship felt strained because of their conflict. In episode thirteen, they cuddled in a log cabin.

7. Mikey Heverly  began his working-class career at Holiday Bowling Center

In the summer of his 12th year, he started working as a dishwasher. He’s now at the level of Assistant Manager after having made progress since then. He has been working at the bowling alley for so long that he has become like family to the other employees.

8. He had to deal with difficult picture sessions and sketchy agencies

Since he was in high school, Mikey has heard that he should model. He thought it would be an excellent idea because he wanted to start living, traveling, and meeting new people. He thought that modeling would be an effective tactic for reaching these objectives. Yet he didn’t exactly have a stellar start in the modeling business. The challenging photo assignments and fly-by-night businesses he had to cope with would demoralize anyone lacking in willpower.

9. His friend assisted him to get into the America Top Next Model show

In an effort to get him on the show, Renee Bhagwandeen, a friend of his and a past contestant in Cycle 20, decided to shoot some photos of him and send them to the ANTM producers. There was a drawn-out sequence of interviews, photos, and films with him after the casting process. He had to leave the bowling alley as soon as he got the call to go to Los Angeles for the performance. His teammates have been very supportive of his efforts, telling him that he’s wanted to do this since he was 13 and assuring him that he’ll always have a position at the bowling alley if he wishes to return.

10. Mikey hobbies are bike riding, basketball playing, and acting

Bike riding, which he engages in daily at home for between 10 and 20 kilometers, is Mikey’s main interest. He just rides his bike to calm his mind. Mikey enjoys acting as well as playing basketball, which he does frequently.
