10 Famous America’s Next Top Model Judges
The reality television program America’s Next Top Model focuses on the modeling and fashion industries. The show’s 24 cycles have included a number of illustrious judges who have assisted in directing aspiring models toward success.
The ANTM became a global phenomenon, enthralling audiences with its glitzy runway shows, competitive photo shoots, and inclusion of the legendary judges who assisted in choosing the winner of the title of next top model.
The famous Tyra Banks, who created the program, spoke out against the likes of Miss J Alexander and Janice Dickinson. The ANTM judges become household names in their own right. owing to their understanding of the fashion business, distinctive personalities, and astute criticism. Aspiring models have become successful, self-assured professionals thanks to these judges.
Below is a list of the top 10 judges for America’s Next Top Model;
1. Janice Dickinson

On February 16, 1955, Janice Doreen Dickinson was born in the United States. She is a television personality, model, and businesswoman. While disputing the claim that she was the first supermodel, Dickinson first rose to prominence as a model. She served as a judge on four seasons of America’s Next Top Model and was one of the most well-known models of the 1970s and 1980s (2003–2006).
She entered the series with the intention of becoming a unique voice. While Janice was on the show, Tyra made sure you knew it was just the Janice Show because she wasn’t having any of it (and fired her after Cycle 4). With insult after insult coming from her collagen-injected lips, she was ANTM’s, Simon Cowell. Janice was so popular because she was such a skilled TV producer.
2. Alexander Jenkins
Most notably known for his work on America’s Next Top Model Cycles 5—13 and 21 have been the American runway coach J. Alexander, sometimes known as Miss J or J. Alexander. He travels a lot for the fashion and modeling industries. Alexander resides in both Â鶹APP and New York City.
From runway coach to the guest judge to major judge to retired judge during the course of the show, Miss J has held many positions. It was a terrible shame that Tyra had fired him, Nigel, and Jay Manuel along with the rest of the crew at the end of Cycle 18. On the panel, Miss J stood out as a peculiar, colorful judge with a different outfit for each season, whether it was an afro, sparkly name tags, or ruffled collars. On the show, he was unusual.
3. Nigel Barker
Nigel Barker is an English reality television star who also works as a writer, fashion photographer, ex-model, director, and spokesperson. He is well known for his work as a judge and photographer, and from Cycle 2 to Cycle 18, he hosted the reality show America’s Next Top Model as well as the American series The Face for the American series.
America’s Next Top Model, a reality show hosted by Tyra Banks, featured Barker as a judge for 17 cycles. Barker asserts that by stepping down from his role on the reality show’s judging panel, he will have more time to work on other initiatives, such as a men’s skincare line and a comeback to television. Also, he presided as a judge for the Miss America 2007 and Miss Universe 2012 pageants. The Shot, a reality competition on VH1 that focuses on photography, has Baker as its executive producer. 2013 saw Barker take over as host of The Face.
4. Andre Leon Talley
American André Leon Talley served as editor-at-large of Vogue magazine as well as a fashion stylist, creative director, and writer (he died on January 18, 2022). He directed the magazine’s fashion reporting department from 1983 to 1987. He was the first African-American man to hold the position of creative director at the magazine from 1988 to 1995. He was editor-at-large between 1998 and 2013. He was renowned for supporting diversity in the fashion industry and assisting upcoming designers. His distinctive look, which included capes, kaftans, and robes, became well-known. Talley also took part in the judging panel for America’s Next Top Model (from Cycle 14 to Cycle 17).
Andre joined the judging panel for ANTM in 2010, and his association with Vogue gave the group some cache. He first gave the impression that Miss J was the logical next step after Nole in the Pokemon universe, but he quickly proved that he was a judge who should not be trifled with. Using the best Michael Kors from Project Runway parody, he merged his fiery originality with humor.
5. Kelly Cutrone
American novelist, publicist, and media personality Kelly. In 2011, she served as a judge for America’s Next Top Model’s seasons 18 through 22.
Kelly’s position is contested by several. She has always been who she is, despite the fact that few people seem to like her lifeless appearance and all-black attire. After appearing in The Hills to The City, Kell on Earth, her own delicious one-season series, what other path could she have traveled to become a judge on ANTM? She can make snap decisions when they are needed because she is familiar with how the business runs.
6. Paulina Porizkova
A model and writer of Czech heritage, Paulina Porizkova. In 1984, she made history by becoming the first woman from Central Europe to appear on the cover of a Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. In the movie Anna, Porizkova made her acting debut (1987).
From Cycle 10 to Cycle 12, Porizkova participated as a judge on America’s Next Top Model (ANTM). Paulina took Twiggy’s place and brought the spice back for her three rounds of judging. One of the few judges to express her resentment in public was Paulina. Up until May 2009, when she was fired, Porizkova was responsible for the show’s regular weekly evaluations of the ANTM competitors.
7. Kimora Lee Simmons
Kimora Lee Simmons is an American entrepreneur, businesswoman, model, fashion designer, TV personality, author, venture capitalist, and philanthropist. Tyra Banks and Simmons took the stage as judges for America’s Next Top Model’s first season in 2003. But, it quickly became clear that she wasn’t as willing to contribute as the rest of her panel. She is the owner and creative force behind the provocative clothing line Baby Phat.
8. Rob Evans
Rob James Evans, a boxer and model, is Irish. He collaborated with Tyra Banks and Kelly Cutrone as a key judge for ANTM cycles 19 and 20 in 2012.
Rob appeared stunning on camera and even more gorgeous while cuddled up in Trya, but when it came time to make a decision, he got bogged down in the discussion of femininity and failed to accurately evaluate the males. But to be fair to him, males don’t offer as much as women do. In contrast to Tyra, he was quiet.
9. Dame Lesley Lawson (Twiggy)
Dame Lesley Lawson DBE is a well-known stage name for the English actress, model, and singer. She was a popular teenage model and a representation of British culture during the swinging 1960s in London.
As one of the four judges for Cycles 5–9 of the show, she joined America’s Next Top Model cast in 2005. Twiggy’s arrival in Cycle 5 was a breath of fresh air after Janice’s terror dominated the previous four seasons. She lacked the pop and GIF-able appeal that typically excite ANTM viewers, yet her compassion frequently led to blandness. At least she was knowledgeable about what she was discussing and always acted professionally.
10. Nole Marin

Nolé Marin and Jay Manuel were attendees at the 2007 MuchMusic Video Awards, held the night of Sunday, June 17, 2007, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. photo by Robin Wong.
Prior to the closure of AIM Model Management in New York City in 2016, when Nole Marin declared bankruptcy as a result of allegations of wage theft brought forth by his booking agent and numerous of his models, the agency was owned and operated by Nole Marin.
Both True Beauty and America’s Next Top Model’s third and fourth seasons featured him as a judge.
