According to an official notice released by the U.S. Embassy in the Czech Republic, their Consular Section will remain closed for renovation. The consulate on Vla拧sk谩 Street in Mal谩 Strana will have maintenance works kick off today, Monday 18, and run until March 28. Regular service operations are expected to resume on April 2, 2024.
One of the main service the U.S. Embassy Prague Consular Section offers is visa services. They also provide information and assistance to U.S. citizens in the Czech Republic.
Email response service will go on as usual
The Embassy鈥檚 email response service will remain uninterrupted. They will also assist people in need of emergency services on a case basis.
Besides, the Embassy had given the public a chance to apply for regular services before the closure dates. Those who missed the opportunity will wait until regular operations resume.
