Catch a stunning drone show that will illuminate Prague鈥檚 evening sky over the Vltava River on March 26th, starting at 7 pm. The event is free and is a collaboration between the Czech film Gump 鈥� Jsme dvojka and Prague City.

This event is a step towards sustainable yet exciting entertainment for the residents and visitors of Prague. It follows the traditional fireworks ban in the city center, parks, hospitals, animal shelters, and other sensitive areas in 2020.

Prague鈥檚 councilor for legislation commented: 鈥淲e believe a drone show can be a fantastic alternative to fireworks. It eliminates unnecessary suffering for animals and reduces stress for seniors and children.鈥�

The Deputy Mayor of Prague Ji艡铆 Posp铆拧il, a champion of animal welfare, shared equal sentiments. 鈥淔ireworks are a major source of stress not just for dogs, but for many wild animals too. Every year, our rescue centers see animals suffering from fireworks-related trauma. Additionally, countless dogs get lost during these displays.鈥�

Further, Posp铆拧il is for a complete ban on over-the-counter fireworks. He cites drone shows as an alternative with equal captivation without harming animals.
