According to reports from , Cabify claims that high-speed train passengers arriving at the station often struggle to secure taxis or ride-hailing services (known as VTCs).

Despite facing resistance from the taxi sector, the ride-sharing platform remains adamant that Barcelona’s current taxi license count of approximately 10,500 pales in comparison to the staggering 11,000 licenses issued back in 1979.
