Tyler鈥檚 appearance on screens has attracted many fans, who have ventured into his personal life with unending questions. People wanted to know about his sexuality and gender identity and Tyler did not disappoint. He admitted that he is bisexual.

In an interview with NME in 2021, the Teen Wolf star came out as bisexual after admitting that he is sexually fluid. Everybody knew that Tayler Posey was dating his former costar Phem when he came out. He has also been in relationships with other women including Miley Cyrus, Bella Thorne, and Sophia Ali in the past. Therefore his coming out was questionable.

People accused Tyler Posey of gay-baiting when he first created an OlyFans account, hinting that he was gay. However, he refuted the claims in an interview with NME when he said that he is bisexual. 鈥淚鈥檝e been with everybody under the sun, and right now am in the best relationship that I鈥檝e ever been in with a woman, and she鈥檚 queer too. She helped me realize that I fit under the queer umbrella and that I鈥檓 sexually fluid,鈥� he said in the interview.

Posey has stated in previous interviews about his experience being sexually fluid. According to him, his role in the 鈥楾een Wolf鈥� franchise helped him to be who he was. 鈥淭een Wolf helped me not to let the subject die in my head. It was constantly there, and it was constantly being accepted. For me, it was easier to not be ashamed of what I was going through. I was just instilled with this idea of acceptance for who I am. I owe it to the show,鈥� he said in the interview with Gay Times.

The actor said that the Teen Wolf series was important in shaping his queer side. The show featured LGBTQ+ people most professionally without having them label themselves.

He talked about his journey to coming out, first with family and friends and then with the general public. Posey said that revealing to his father his fluid sexuality was a good experience because his father was okay with it. Because he had never shared his sexuality with his father before, the actor was almost overwhelmed by his father鈥檚 positive reaction.

The support from his family and several fans on social media and in person helped him to be comfortable with his sexuality.

Therefore Tyler Posey is queer, because of his fluid sexuality as he can and has been in relationships with both men and women.
