According to a February 2011 report by New York Daily News newspaper, Leguizamo admitted he was raised in Jackson Heights.
Furthermore, the comedian told the newspaper that his family moved from Bogotá, Colombia when he was about 3 and a half years old. They settled in New York’s Jackson Heights where he credits most of his life.
