20 Famous Barrel Racers Who Redefined Speed and Grace

When I will visit the Western parts of the US I would like to go to the rodeo. From my research one of my favourite events is barrel racing. Cowgirls race their horses around three barrels as fast as possible. It’s so exciting to watch them turn those barrels, leaning way over in the saddle. Some of the racers have become real famous over the years for their speed and grace on horseback.

Sit back and let me spin some tales about the quickest and most graceful rodeo queens ever to race the cloverleaf. Join me as I tell you about 20 lady barrel racers who changed the sport and inspired new fans like me. From early stars to today’s champions, these ladies rewrote the record books. With flying manes and screaming crowds, this is a ride not to miss! I’ll start with the legend herself, Charmayne James…
