1 Gilbert Baker

Gilbert Baker, who was raised in Parsons and was born in Chanute, was a significant LGBT rights campaigner. He is best recognized for designing the rainbow flag, which has come to represent the cause. His community established the Gilbert Baker Film Festival, a celebration of LGBTQIA+ creators, to honour Baker’s efforts.
The activist died in 2017 in New York City and the cause of death was determined to be hypersensitive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. California state senator eulogized the activist saying that he helped define the modern LGBT movement.

He established a subgenre of pricey stunt-focused YouTube videos. On other social networking sites like Twitter and Instagram, Mr Beast is also well-liked.

She is a fast-rising American singer, songwriter and actress that is known for her signature black and white outfits when she is in the studio. She rose to fame after her studio album topped the charts in the United States. She went on to establish Woodlands Records whose aim was to promote like-minded artists.
Additionally, Janelle performed as herself in a number of television serials and the film “Moonlight.” She received two awards: “Outstanding Breakthrough Performance: Female” at the Black Reel Awards and the “Rising Star Award” at the Billboard Women Music Awards. She has starred in several ads and served as a brand ambassador for “Cover Girl,” the top cosmetic company in America. Her Kansas City upbringing had a significant influence on her attitude toward life, which is evident in her songs. She supports the rights of LGBTQ people. In April 2022, she openly revealed her non-binary identity on the American chat show “Red Table Talk.”

The actress was born in Kansas and raised in San Diego. She is popular because of her role and performance in the movie ‘American Beauty. She started her acting journey while she attended San Francisco University where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in theatre arts. At the age of 22, she had her stage acting debut; at the age of 28, she made her television acting debut.
She landed her first Broadway play a year later, and at the age of 30, she started her movie career. At age 32, the gifted actress received her first nomination for an Academy Award. The Grifters, Bugsy, American Beauty, The Kids Are All Right, and 20th Century Women are some of her most well-known cinematic appearances.

Erin is an environmental activist and legal clerk and was born in Lawrence, Kansas. She came into the limelight after building the 1993 Pacific Gas and Electric Company litigation suit that was settled for $333 million. Her association with the case was included in a biographical movie produced in 2000.
She currently holds the position of president of Brockovich Research & Consulting and works as a consultant for Girardi & Keese. Brockovich received an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and an Honorary Doctor of Laws from Lewis & Clark Law School in Oregon as a reward for her environmental work.

Jennifer, who was born in Kansas City, participates in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, NASCAR Whelen Euro, and NASCAR XFINITY Series. Born in Sharon in 1966, Martina is a singer, songwriter and record producer. She focuses on country music and she is quite good at it that she has won the Country Music Association’s Top Female Vocalist three times. This is quite an achievement as there are many good artists who specialize in country music. Furthermore, she is a 14-time Grammy nominee.
