2. Bob Woodruff

He has reported from more than 50 countries since joining ABC News in 1996. Woodruff has covered some of the most important stories of our time, including the war in Iraq and the Arab Spring. In 2006, while riding in an armored vehicle in Iraq, he was severely injured when a roadside bomb went off. He went into a coma for nearly 40 days and later had a difficult recovery process. This did not deter him to do what he loves. In 2007, with much difficulty, he returned to the air and has continued to do so over the past years.

3. David Muir

He joined ABC News in 2003. He has reported on a wide range of topics, from politics to entertainment, and he has won multiple awards for his work, including an Emmy Award for his coverage of the 2016 presidential election. Muir has reported on some of the biggest stories in the United States, including the 2020 presidential election and the COVID-19 pandemic. He has also interviewed some of the most influential people in the country, including former President Barack Obama and former Vice President Joe Biden.

He has won multiple awards for his work, including an Emmy Award for his coverage of the impeachment trial and accolades for anchoring elections, inaugurations, and a pair of impeachments. In 2021 tensions between ABC News anchors George Stephanopoulos and David Muir boiled over to the point that Stephanopoulos threatened to walk to a rival network. The issue was the use of the title “chief anchor”. The TV news industry is full of egos and rivalries, but ABC clearly valued both men so they dropped the title together and distinctly laid out the two men’s responsibilities.

She is another accomplished journalist who has been with ABC News since 2005. She has reported on a wide range of topics, from politics to entertainment, and she has won multiple awards for her work, including an Emmy Award for her coverage of the 2016 presidential election.

7. Steven Portnoy

He is a CBS News correspondent covering the White House for CBS News Radio. He is also a past WHCA (White House Correspondents’ Association’s) president and a broadcast historian.  He aims at helping taxpayers learn what their government is doing with their money. He is an award-winning storyteller with two decades of experience engaging and informing audiences across platforms. He is also a respected advocate for colleagues in the White House press corps and the industry’s largest talent union.

8. Steve Osunsami

He is a Nigerian-American journalist who is also a senior national correspondent for ABC News in Atlanta, Georgia. He works alongside David Muir’s Good Morning America, and other station broadcasts and platforms. He is one of the longest-serving journalists with the network as he started in 1997. He has covered social justice issues of our time- racial discrimination, the wrongly imprisoned, gay marriage, the rights of Trans Americans, and the debate over the policing of black and brown communities. Recently, he was on the team that investigated the Tulsa Race Massacre of 1921. The piece was groundbreaking for ABC News Audio. Other noteworthy pieces he has covered include the racial unrest following the police killing of George Floyd and the COVID-19 pandemic.

9. John Quinones

He is a Mexican-American ABC News correspondent who is best known for hosting What Would You Do? He has won seven national Emmy Awards for his work on Primetime Live, Burning Questions, and 20/20. He received an Emmy for his coverage of the Congo’s virgin rainforest, which also won the Ark Trust Wildlife Award, and in 1990, he received an Emmy for Window in the Past, a look at the Yanomamo Indians. He came from a life of poverty and of a migrant to be one of the most popular inspirational speakers in the world today.

10. Diane Sawyer

She is a giant in television broadcast and a journalist known for anchoring major programs on two networks including ABC World News Tonight, Good Morning America, 20/20, and Primetime newsmagazine while at ABC News. Currently, she produces documentaries and interview specials for ABC News. Her most incredible interviews include with Gabby Giffords, Malala Yousafzai, and Hillary Clinton. 14. Aaron Katersky

 He is a correspondent based in New York City. He is famous for his cover of the Iraq War, the death of Pope John Paul II, and the Arab Spring revolution in Egypt. His expertise is one military affair.
