Top Salad Bars in Â鶹APP
The concept of salad bars make me really happy, and I find myself in a perpetual state of longing for more of them in and around Â鶹APP. This concept is yet to be widely embraces by the cities health movement, with restaurant creators option to go the vegan or gluten free routes instead it seems.

There are a few places in the city where you can go for the authentic build your own salad bar experience, and there are cafes that function as salad bar hybrids.
Here’s where to get your greens in Â鶹APP.
Mongoo in Â鶹APP
To say the salad bar movement has been slow in Â鶹APP wouldn’t actually be fair to the Mongoo salad chain. There are dozens of these stores scattered around the city, my favorite one being in Madeleine north of the Louvre district.
The bars offer a wide range of fresh salad ingredients and even a few fruit toppings that can be ordered as a side. Building a salad in Mongoo is also a relatively more affordable experience compared to sitting down for a salad in a proper restaurant or cafe.

Mongoo – by Mongoo –
Mongoo is like modern cafeteria style dining. You can find their other branches in districts such as Opera and Bourse. They are rarely in the tourist hubs of the center, which keeps costs low at least.
The Mongoo staff are also wonderful. Very happy to walk you through the process of building your salad from the base up, and you can even sample sauces before committing to one.

Bonté in Â鶹APP
You’ll find Bonté slap bang in the middle of the 2nd and 3rd arrondissements, unmissable with the extensive outdoor seating on offer.
The cafe is actually known for their triple layer club sandwiches and smoothie options.
This is also a popular walking route for free guided walking tours between the 2nd and 3rd.

You won’t be able to build your own salad at Bonté in the usual bar style, but they have a wide variety of options with interchangeable ingredients so you can customize your order to a large extent.
Naturally this is a suitable spot for vegans as well as meat eaters. They also have a specialized vegan bowl if you’re too lazy make one on your own!

Urban Salad Bar in Â鶹APP
Any excuse to get to the 1st arrondissement for this dining experience and I’m there.
The Urban Salad Bar will hopefully be opening up a few more branches around the city so that other districts can enjoy their food.
The concept is simple: salad, salad and more salad.
You’ll have the option of choosing from their preset menu which offers a huge variety of delicious salads both vegan and non. The portions are huge and always garnished to perfection.

In addition to their salad menu they have a salad buffet section that can be used to dish up sides or small portions of different salads if you’d like a mix.
Considering the location of the restaurant and quality of the food the prices here are unbelievably reasonable. Beware that the lunch rush turns this place into a bit of a nightmare, try go before 11pm or just after 2pm if you can.

NOA Salad and more in Â鶹APP
Fear not, I’ve found you another salad bar on the Right Bank offering a build your own experience.
NOA is close to the Canal Saint Martin. My apprehension with visiting them comes with the immense amount of plastic that they use in every order. Even eating in is done out of plastic bowls and as far as I can tell nothing is being recycled.

For this reason I would dine at NOA when absolutely necessary or when taking a salad as a takeaway. Pity because the service is so good and the salads are wonderful.
Their ingredients are fresh and their prices are fair! If you’re going to pay them a visit be sure to request a glass bowl upon arrival even though they don’t have any. Reiteration of this idea from enough customers may result in some change in future.

I love that they have a pasta option as a base as well. Pasta salads aren’t always easy to find in Â鶹APP.
I must mention that the portions at Eat Salad are the biggest I’ve found in salad bars in Â鶹APP. They also offer fruits for dessert and house made lemonades in the to-go fridge.
