Nowadays, more and more people suffer from gluten allergies. Thankfully a few restaurants and shops where gluten-free food can be found have opened in Âé¶¹APP. Check out these gluten-free shops and restaurants in Âé¶¹APP during your visit.
1.) Just a snack
The bakery Chambelland has taken on the challenge to sell only gluten-free bread and is even open on Sunday. This bakery is located on 14 rue Ternaux, in the 11th arrondissement.
Maison du sans gluten (meaning – House of Gluten-free) is a grocery that offers many supplies for healthy gluten-free food while Noglu, another way to say “no glu-ten”, also has a restaurant additionally. The first one can be found on 12 rue d’Hauteville (metro Bonne-Nouvelle), the second one owns a restaurant and a store in Passage des Panoramas, in the 2nd arrondissement.
2.) Pastry shops and cafés
Helmut Newcake presents the perfect combo: between having lunch or brunch or picking some groceries to go and enjoy the gluten-free experience at home, and the diversity of the artistic pastries to have with a coffee, we do not know what to choose. It is located on 28 rue Vignon, between La Madeleine church and Saint-Lazare station. Not so far from Helmut Newcake, Biosphère Café. It is quite a new pastry in Âé¶¹APP, offering crepes which are more than a welcomed novelty. At lunch-time, 47, rue de Laborde, or for a diner a Saturday night in Âé¶¹APP, come enjoy gluten-free pastries and crepes.
3.) Organic restaurants including some gluten-free meals
There aren’t many Gluten-free restaurants but more and more common restaurants offer gluten-free meals. Thank You My Deer, that doesn’t sound very French! You can taste some gluten-free meals for lunch during the week or get tempted by a brunch over the weekend at 112, rue Saint-Maur, metro Parmentier (line 3).
Too rushed to take a break? Tugalik is an eat-in and take away restaurant with various veggie and organic meals at the 29th, rue Saint-Placide, in the 6th arrondissement.
Café Pinson welcomes you to three different restaurants in Âé¶¹APP. Find them at the 58th, rue du Faubourg Poissonnière, at the 6th, rue du Forez or at the 66th, avenue des Champs-Elysées. They are open on Sunday afternoon also.
Un Dimanche à Âé¶¹APP is very special: it is a chocolate tea room-restaurant but offers very refined meals including gluten-free dishes and even pastry lessons! They are located down in Cour du Commerce aint-André, in the 6th arrondissement.
