The Best Bars near the Trocadero in Â鶹APP

Let’s make one thing clear before we go any further, there are no great bars near the Trocadero. It’s just not the kind of area people generally flock to for night life in Â鶹APP, so business owners haven’t gone to much trouble to cater to the very limited demand.

There are a few places where you can drink, but take not that most close up before regular Â鶹APPian bars even open for the evening. The following five are the ones worth knowing about if you do ever need a drink while visiting the Trocadero or Eiffel Tower, as most do.

1. Le Petit Troca near the Trocadero in Â鶹APP

Le Petit Troca is a surprising little entity just off of one of the side streets near the Trocadero. It has an astounding view of the entire Eiffel Tower, especially by night, and markets itself as a bistro/bar.

This is a very low-key spot, but they do have a fantastic menu and extensive wine list. I recommend buying wine by the bottle as opposed to the glass, as I find it to be a better experience here.

Le Petit Troca also deserves some praise for their ever-improving service. The staff seem to really enjoy being there and it resonates through to the patrons.

2. Pub Kléber near the Trocadero in Â鶹APP

Fancy a cocktail or an ice cold beer? The Pub Kleber is as good as it gets near the Trocadero, and is probably the closest thing to an actual bar that you’re going to find.

Considering that this spot is open from morning until following morning, you can enjoy their service no matter the time of day. There aren’t many places near the Trocadero where you can get a glass of wine at one in the morning — thank goodness for them!

I should also mention their wonderful pub food menu; generous portions, tasty sides, and some of the freshest mussels this side of the Seine.

3. Frog XVI near the Trocadero in Â鶹APP

The Frog XVI is probably the closest watering hole to the actual Trocadero. It’s a full pub, with a well stocked bar and an extensive range of craft beers.

Truth be told, the food menu has more of a diner-vide in this joint, with greasy burgers and deep-fried everything. The bar is lengthy with ample place to sit if you don’t want to use a formal table.

In the warmer months, there are tables outside where you can enjoy a beer with a view of the Trocadero.

4. Le PoinCaré near the Trocadero in Â鶹APP

First rule about Â鶹APP: if it says ‘cafe’ on the signage, it’s got a bar!

Le PoinCare is close to the Trocadero and is your typical Â鶹APPian bistro. The bar is fully stocked and you can have drinks here through until midnight, seven days a week.

If you’re into French onion soup, I must recommend having a bite to eat whilst here. They make one of the best versions in the area, and naturally this meal is a must for all newcomers to Â鶹APP.

5. Mokus l’Écureuil near the Trocadero in Â鶹APP

This gastronomical dream of a spot is close to the Trocadero and Eiffel Tower. It’s technically an Italian restaurant, bit it’s got a retro diner/pub vibe going on aesthetically, with red lighting to boot.

The long bar has comfortable chairs upon which you can perch for the better part of the evening. Allow the bartenders to introduce you to Italian beers and liquors you’ve likely never heard of before.
