If you’re yet to jump on the açaà train you’d do well to let the cafes of Â鶹APP be your first introduction to the dish.
Açaà is a rich, purple berry that grows only in Brazil. It is considered one of the world superfoods thanks to its powerful anti oxidizing properties and nutrients.
Restaurants and cafes around the world have incorporated the berry into their menus in different ways. It is often thrown into smoothies, or the powdered version is blended into yogurts or ice creams.

The best way to eat açaà is in its rawest state in a bowl, topped with fresh fruits and granola to taste. The berry itself is not very sweet, so bowls with toppings make for a far more enjoyable dining experience.
The açaà trend has blown up in Â鶹APP and most of the cafes in the city center offer an açaà bowl of some sort. Unfortunately, it is very easy to make a bad açaà bowl, so knowing where to go for a good one will save you a lot of time and money. Read on!
Love Juice Bar in Â鶹APP
I once made a long trek to Love Juice Bar in Â鶹APP’ 3rd on a particular hot day and almost cried when I couldn’t find the entrance on Rue Chapon. The cafe is where it says it is, but the entire space is about the same size as the door itself and it is extremely easy to miss.
Love Juice Bar is wonderful. Their approach to their fruit bowls is straightforward with a simple menu on the wall stating a list of bowl flavors, including açaÃ, and then the toppings on offer.

Place your order at the counter and take a seat. You’ll have your bowl in front of you within minutes.
Their açaà is blended with bananas and other fruits, but is delicious nonetheless. I like the peanut butter as an additional topping here.

Wild & The Moon Charlot in Â鶹APP
Wild & The Moon is the trendy neighborhood go-to for vegan sweet and savory treats. I would eat here daily if it weren’t for the price tags; absolutely everything on the menu is quite mind-blowing.
Wild & The Moon have a few branches around the city, but I find their le Marais branch to serve consistently good açaÃ.

As far as I can tell it is not mixed with anything and you’ll receive the berries as is. Toppings are of your choice but I do recommend banana (always) and goji berries.

Liife in Â鶹APP
Personally, I prefer more frozen versions of the açaà bowl, but smoothie-style versions are fine if they are done properly.
The açaà bowl at Liife is on the runnier side, but the flavors are so on point as are the bowl toppings that its totally worth it. Liife is also surprisingly affordable due to the location further north of les Halles.

They can be a bit sparing on the berry toppings so be sure to request extra when you order. What’s great about Liife is that almost all ingredients used in their cafe, including the açaÃ, are organic.

Kitchen in Â鶹APP
Nothing irks me more than paying the same price for an açaà bowl as a regular meal but leaving unsatisfied and still hungry.
Portioning with açaà bowls in important, some places get it wrong and some get it very right. Kitchen is a cafe in the 3rd arrondissement that I spend a lot of my time and money in.

I could spend this entire article going on about their pancakes — but since we’re here for açaà I’ll do that instead. Their bowls are so generously portioned and well topped, I guarantee if you are staying in an Airbnb nearby this meal will become your breakfast and lunch throughout your trip.
If you’re in these parts for a free guided walking tour be sure to make Kitchen your before or after refreshment station.

Season in Â鶹APP
Since we’re on the subject of açaà bowls that don’t seem to get portions right, let’s head over to Season.
Don’t get me wrong, Season is a wonderful eatery in le Marais catering to vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters alike. They are also one of the few cafes in Â鶹APP offering the Beyond Meat Burger (which I highly recommend).

Season in Â鶹APP – by Season –
They do açaà bowls on demand, meaning they have a slush maker that spits the product out per order. Despite being of great quality and tasty toppings, for €10 you’ll be scraping the tiny bowl wishing for more.
I include them in this lineup because regardless of size issues the açaà is good and healthy. A worthwhile spot if you’re nearby and in desperate need of a quick fix!

République of Coffee in Â鶹APP
I love this little cafe near the Canal Saint Martin. Do yourself a favor and visit for breakfast or brunch any day of the week, and visit with a friend if you can. I recommend wording the oats, the pancakes and the açaà bowl and sharing them all.
All portions of food at République of Coffee are generous and you’ll leave feeling more than satisfied.

If you’ve gotten over how expensive everything is in Â鶹APP and are enjoying the hustle and bustle but need a quiet hiding place for a moment, and love coffee and pastries this Juice-Lab is what you’re looking for.
You’ll enjoy a little break here. The storefront is quite modest and cute, comparable to other Juice Lab stores throughout Â鶹APP. Get an açai bowl here with 5 toppings in a plastic cup which goes for 8.90€.

The tone of Cafe Pinson is immediately apparent as you go through the doorway. First and foremost, you will be captivated by its decor, which is both current and unique. It is an introduction that promises you will eat your supper at the pinnacle of the capital’s best and most trendy eateries.
Locals love it since it’s such a welcoming and elegant location where you can snuggle into a giant armchair or sofa, with tables and rest spaces. You can have breakfast, and lunch, and drink a cup of coffee, tea, or detox herb tea here.

Holybelly in Â鶹APP
It’s impossible to find anything negative to say about a tasty croissant for breakfast or a delicious pain au chocolat with a café creme. But sometimes all you need is a hot, substantial meal with a large plate of eggs and some flavorful sides. Holybelly steps forward.
The idea of eating a substantial breakfast, superb coffee, and a friendly setting grabbed Â鶹APP by storm a few years ago. The menu features healthy brunch spins on pancakes, topped with either bacon and a fried egg or seasonal fruits as well as health food stalwarts like the acai bowl, matcha bowl, and superfood salads.
This place is fantastic! I would strongly recommend it to anyone searching for a healthy treat while in Â鶹APP. The prettiest small place with more than reasonable costs for what you got!
