Will Jenna Ortega be featured in the Scream 7?

There has been so much buzz that has gone around with the release of Scream 6. With the immense success rates, we have seen with the release of the franchise there is so much probability next sequel is on its way. Give the fact that Jenna survives the Ghostface it is quite likely she will be back on our screens on the next Scream.

Some of the other cast that we expect to see in the sequel include, Melissa Barrera, Jasmin Savoy, Mason Gooding, Courteney Cox and Josh Segarra. With the positive remarks form scream 6, it is only a matter of time until the production team announces the release dates of the next franchise.

So much positive feedback has been given on almost all social media platforms. Scream 6 brought in quite some new perspectives, the production shattered the records by introducing three Ghost faces, which was different from the rest of the films. At the very end we witness how Sam picks up one of the killer鈥檚 costumes and stabs the detective severally and finally kills him by stabbing him in the eye.

The core four surprising survive the wrath of the three ghostfaces. It goes without saying that the four survivors are guaranteed to be back on our screens for the next franchise. Before the release of the film, Jenna had revealed that the Ghostface would be more aggressive and violent than ever.

And this is what viewers got form the film, Ghostface was move vicious than ever and the producers even gave us a twist by introducing three Ghostfaces which was unlike the other films. The directors of the film, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett revealed in an interview that they would however need more time to make and release the next franchise.

It is likely that Scream 7 will take a little longer than the absurdly short 14 months it took between Scream 5 and 6. Funs are however hoping that the production process takes the shortest time possible to release the next franchise.  

Melissa Barrera has revealed her hopes for Scream 7, saying there鈥檚 鈥渟o much potential鈥� for her character Sam Carpenter. One of the reasons she said this was that, when she read the script for Scream 5, she was so interested in the character. She added, 鈥淭here鈥檚 so much potential here of where she could go with her mental health – she鈥檚 just unpredictable. I find that that darkness in her makes her that much more interesting to play and to watch.鈥�

鈥淪he鈥檚 the hero but she鈥檚 also kind of the villain. It鈥檚 this contradiction in her that I find fascinating and, if we get to do another one, I would love to see,鈥� she continued. 鈥淭he writers have done a really good job with her up until this point, so I trust them just to know where to take her in a way that will be unexpected and cool for the fans.鈥�

What we know for now is that Ghostface and the four survivors will be featured in the next sequel of the film. Fans are almost convinced that Scream 7 will mirror scream 3 and there is going to be a stand alone Killer. 鈥淲e want to be watching scream movies whether we鈥檙e involved or not for the rest of our live鈥�, Bettinelli-Opin revealed in an interview with Deadline.

This clearly shows that even the great minds behind the production of the franchise also want the see it continue. Since the landing of the franchise 25 years ago, it has been ranked among the iconic horror films of all time. Fans are hopeful that the sequel will follow suit and be released in the first half of next year.
