French Prodigy Greatest Prospect In The History Of Team Sports

If we start naming the best basketball players right now, I bet Wembanyama’s name comes in handy among the top names on the list.

Victor has been leaving everybody in awe with his immense skill set which has garnered him hype that has been compared to that LeBron received back in 2003 when he was getting to the NBA.

Victor can do it all on the court and getting all this hype without playing a single game in the NBA shows what level the French sensation is at.

Standing at 7’4” and with an 8-foot wingspan, Victor’s in-court dominance is unmatched. Your favourite basketball player probably looks up to the 19-year-old for sure and as it might be outrageously good, the best is yet to come.

Wembanyama shoots accurately from the 3-point arc and he is well-known for both his talent and his playing manner in general. Victor will undoubtedly find it simpler to complete some tasks that other players cannot due to his alien-like height.

Despite his tall stature, he can outrun the defence and make the shot thanks to his strong ball-handling abilities and quick first step. Beyond the arc, his shooting is accurate and deadly.

His height and speed make him a powerful rim protector and a defence to beat on the defensive side.

We can now see why teams are drooling at the idea of getting him on the roster and what they will be getting when they land him on their team.

Victor has gotten his fair share of praise across the globe with notable names including players and pundits complimenting him on his prowess. One of his most notable compliments was from Magic Johnson.

Wembanyama and Magic Johnson linked up in 鶹APP at the courtside of an NBA game and what followed was a shower of compliments from the 5-time NBA champion.

Boasting a decorated career in the NBA, Magic Johnson led the 80s Showtime Lakers to five championships all in the 80s. Johnson might have seen something special in the 7’4” French prodigy to make these calls.

In a tweet from Johnson’s official account, the tweet read, “I had the chance to meet and talk to the best player in the world and this year’s number one pick in the NBA draft Victor Wembanyama !”

It is no surprise that other players have expressed their adoration for Wembanyama with LeBron James calling him an ‘Alien.’

LeBron said, “Everybody has been a unicorn over the last few years, but he’s more like an alien. No one has ever seen anyone as tall as he is but as fluid and as graceful as he is out on the floor.

At his ability to put the ball on the floor, shoot step-back jumpers out of the post, step-back threes, catch-and-shoot threes and block shots. He’s for sure a generational talent.”

The latest compliment is what left the world buzzing. ESPN pundit Adrian Wojnarowski dubbed Wembanyama the greatest prospect in the history of team sports.

Speaking on ESPN, Adrian said,” This is the most highly-anticipated player to ever enter the NBA. Maybe the greatest prospect in the history of team sports.”

Compliments coming from every corner cherried by Adrian’s comment of dubbing him the greatest prospect in the history of team sports leave us wondering how bright Wembanyama’s star shines.

Not having played a single game in the NBA but already being held at such a high status just shows the talent the NBA will be getting on June 22, 2023, the day set for the NBA draft. Is it time we officially declare Wembanyama a sports GOAT?
