Tourism Ireland, in its first-ever golf and luxury workshop in Frankfurt, promoted Ireland’s world-class golf and luxury tourism offerings to German tour operators. Twelve (12) golf and luxury tourism businesses from Ireland had an opportunity to connect with the German tour operators through one-to-one meetings and networking sessions. The event aimed to highlight Ireland’s golf and luxury tourism offerings to influential German tour operators and secure a greater share of their business in 2024 and beyond.

Nadine Lehmann, Tourism Ireland’s Manager in Germany, expressed her delight in having the key German tour operators meet and connect with their golf and luxury partners from Ireland in Frankfurt,

“We were delighted that these key German tour operators took the time to come and meet with our golf and luxury partners from Ireland in Frankfurt this week. We aimed to highlight our world-class golf and superb luxury tourism offering to the influential German tour operators and to help secure a greater share of their business in 2024 and beyond’’.

She stated that Germany is the third-largest source of visitors to the island of Ireland and one of the largest outbound travel markets in the world.

The golf and luxury tourism businesses from the island of Ireland that participated in the B2B workshop included Carton House, Druids Glen Hotel & Golf Resort, Galgorm Collection, Green Golf Ball, Hayfield Manor, Hinch Distillery, Loughview Leisure Group, Moloney & Kelly, Portrush Atlantic Hotel, The Fitzwilliam Hotel Belfast, The iNUA Collection, and The Killarney Park.

The event was a valuable opportunity for Irish businesses to highlight and sell their products and services and help secure a greater share of the tour operators’ future business.
