In a move set to reignite tourism and strengthen international ties, Hainan Airlines  resumed direct flights connecting Prague to Beijing. Having commenced in June, this thrice-weekly service promises to bridge cultures and open new horizons for travellers and businesses alike.

A Long-Awaited Revival

After years of anticipation, Prague is once again directly linked to the heart of China. The resumption of this pivotal route comes as welcome news to both Czech and Chinese travellers. An offer of  a seamless gateway between East and West.

Jiri Pos, Chairman of the Prague Airport Board of Directors, expressed his enthusiasm: “The resumed direct connection to Beijing will be just the right stimulus for the further development of inbound tourism from China.” With China previously contributing over 600,000 visitors to the Czech Republic in 2019, expectations are high for a robust recovery in tourism numbers.

The new schedule caters to both leisure and business travellers.
