The Champs-Élysées are open to pedestrians one Sunday per month, usually the first. It’s an opportunity for Â鶹APPians of all ages to walk freely down the world’s most beautiful avenue without the presence of cars. The Champs-Elysées will be pedestrian-only this Sunday, May 26, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

As a reminder, Â鶹APP City Hall hopes that “Â鶹APP Respire” will reduce fine particle emissions. Since October 2018, the car-free perimeter has been expanded to include Â鶹APP’s first, second, third, and fourth arrondissements, allowing pedestrians to fully enjoy the city center.

Since July 2017, the anti-pollution plan has gained traction, resulting in traffic restrictions for older cars and trucks.

It is worth noting that on this occasion, some people use the opportunity to promote green tourism, paving the way for numerous good deals. Photo shoots in the heart of the world’s most beautiful avenue, breathtaking views from the top of the Arc de Triomphe, picnics in the middle…
