Nostalgia: fans delighted as Jenna reunite with Wednesday cast members

There is always something special when the casts of your favorite series or movie finally have a reunion and catch up on old times. Well, if you’re a fan of the popular television series Wednesday or Jenna Ortega, get ready to go wild, cause the Wednesday family had a heartwarming reunion at the ATAS events on 29^th of April 2023, Hollywood Forever Cemetery, Hollywood, California. The news has whipped devoted supporters into frenzy, and social media is awash in rumors about what it might imply ahead of the season 2 release, which was announced a few months ago.

The ATAS stands for the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences often known as the Television Academy, a special group that is often dedicated to honoring achievement in the television industry. The event is usually based in the United States of America. If you didn’t know, the most prestigious prizes in American television, the Emmy prizes, were actually created by the ATAS, shocking, right.

We all know the Primetime Emmy Awards and how it is usually attended by top influential people; the same applies to the ATAS event. In the reunion, celebrities from the television industry, including actors, writers, producers, directors, and more were in attendance.

The event symbolizes a form of honor to those who have made remarkable achievements while to also celebrate the greatest films in television programs and I, for one, do think that the Wednesday cast deserved the recognition, especially Jenna Ortega. Ever since the show debuted late 2022, it remained the most watched program on the streaming service for several weeks non-stop; it’s all anyone could talk about.

At the occasion, some of the co-stars present include Catherine Zeta-Jones and Gwendoline Christie. The trio was later joined by fellow co-star Luis Guzman. However, Ortega has easily become one of our favorite young actors, overshadowing other equally great actors. On the carpet, the star wore a simple pinstriped jacket in black and brown with really structured shoulders and turtle shell buttons, talk about class. The blazer had a matching black and brown pinstriped little skirt. Ortega accessorized with simple rings and ear hoops made entirely of gold. She then wore a pair of Christian Louboutin “Amali Alta” platform heels, which is quite easy to dress.

I think the reunion was a much needed event to just bring back the team together and clear the air of any rumors about the costars. Considering all the up’s and down the Wednesday star has experienced; the claims that she was toxic and entitled, the fact that she first declined the show, the gay rumors, and that the actress had customized some parts throughout the first season of filming and whether or not she will be part of the renewed second season of the show that will be streaming on Netflix.

Fans have been anticipating this Wednesday reunion of  Jenna Ortega and her cast mates and truly they have not disappointed! We were reminded of all the reasons we initially fell in love with this beautiful show and how the casts just respect and love each other, it truly brought back a flood of memories, which is the whole purpose of a reunion.

Wednesday was a show that genuinely won the hearts of the public and now that the cast is back together, I cannot wait to see what Jenna Ortega and her cast members have in store for us next and it is fascinating to consider if this means anything to season 2 of the show. For the time being, I think this is a sign that I should stars revisiting all of my favorite episodes of the series with a bowl of popcorns in my hand.
