On March 16th, the wildly popular Azucar Latin Party takes over Azucar Bar and Food for a night of sultry salsa, energetic merengue, and red-hot reggaeton beats. Leading the rhythm explosion will be DJ Afrika Maya, Istanbul’s queen of Latin grooves.

Known for seamlessly blending classic salsa vibes with modern urban flair, Maya’s masterful sets have made her a favorite on Istanbul’s Latin dance circuit. She’ll be spinning infectious tunes from dembow bigwigs like Bad Bunny alongside iconic salsa pioneers like Celia Cruz.

But the real stars of Azucar are the unstoppable dancers who flock to sweat it out on the spacious dance floor. From novice movers to seasoned salseros, the party welcomes all levels with open arms and hips. Experienced dancers even take to the staffed dance lesson area early in the evening to share their slick salsa skills.

As the night heats up, vibrant energy fills the club. The scent of Cuban cigars wafts through the air, rum-soaked cocktails flow freely, and bright smiles accompany every hip sway and turn. It’s an intoxicating escape to the tropics without ever leaving Istanbul.
