The Good Food Guide has been reviewing eateries across the country since 1951. For this list of 100 great local restaurants, about 60,000 nominations were put forward before the final ranking was done. Their undercover inspectors toured the country, making sure that accurate data reflected in the final list.

The guide praised for its authentic flavors, exceptional value, and the charismatic leadership of Chef Abby Lee. ‘The restaurant is always buzzing, and the cooking incredibly flavourful and reviving,’ said Chloë Hamilton, co-editor of the guide.

This recognition highlights the thriving culinary scene in East London, where independent restaurants are increasingly gaining prominence Reacting to the news, Chef Lee stated, ‘We are so lucky to work with people that are equally passionate about showcasing Malaysian cuisine and culture, which has helped put us on the map.’
