Air France will launch new concierge services at Â鶹APP Charles de Gaulle airport on June 11 to “welcome and assist” passengers, albeit at an additional cost.
Customers who book flights with Air France or one of its codeshare partners will receive a “range of tailor-made services” in either French or English, according to the French carrier.
This includes private transportation to and from the airport within a 40-kilometer radius, baggage handling, and personalized concierge assistance through the airport’s priority lanes and/or to the lounge or boarding gate.
The service has a tiered pricing structure based on the number of travelers and can be paid for with miles. For a single traveler, the service costs €400 or 80,000 miles. This increases by €50 (or 10,000 miles) for each additional traveler.
A porter service will also transport luggage to the check-in counter for departing passengers, while passengers with a connecting flight in the economy or premium economy cabins can pay an additional €75 (or 15,000 miles) to access an airline lounge.
The service can be scheduled up to 18 hours before departure.
