Juliette Lake lewis was born on June 21, 1973, she is an American actress and alternative rock singer. Juliette is known for her portrayal of offbeat characters which is often in films with dark themes. Slowly, she rose to fame and became known as it girl of American cinema in the early 1990s. Juliette has appeared in various independent and arthouse films.
Her accolades include a Pasinetti Award, one Academy Award nomination, one Golden Globe nomination, and a Primetime Emmy Award nomination. As the daughter of character actor Geoffrey Lewis, she began her career in television at the age of 14. Her first role was a small part in My Stepmother Is An Alien 1988, it was followed by a more prominent role as Audrey Griswold in National Lampoo’s Christmas Vacation 1989.
She gained international fame through her portrayal of Danielle Bowden in Martin Scorsese’s remake of Cape Fear in 1991. Her performance in the film was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress as well as the Golden Globe under the same category.

Juliette made her first major appearance in the television film Home Fires. She later appeared as a guest vocalist on three tracks by electronic music group The Prodigy’s album Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned in 2004, was also released in 2004.
In 2005, Juliette and the Licks released their debut album You’re Speaking My Language. For the first time, the band had a world tour in support of the album and received a favorable concert review from The Guardian. In the following year, Juliette and the Licks recorded their second studio album Four on the Floor, which was later released in 2007.

5. Juliette’s 2010s Acting Success
Juliette appeared in a number of films, one of them being Mark Ruffalo’s directional debut Sympathy for Delicious which was followed by the comedy film The Switch. In the same year, she appeared as a murder witness in the biographical crime film Conviction. The first film Juliette had in 2011 was the independent drama, Hick.
She later starred in the dramedy film August: Osage County in 2013. In 2014 and 2015, Lewis didn’t have much luck in all the films she part took in. The film Jem and the Holograms was a box-office bomb that only received negative comments.

Juliette was born into Scientology and began practicing in the 1990s. She began the Narconon program after she was released because she had a drinking problem. The programs helped her rehabilitate after a years-long drug addiction in her early adult life. In an Interview in 2015, she remarked about protecting her freedom of choice and religion.
Juliette has been known for supporting Little Kids Rock which is an American nonprofit organization that works to restore and revitalize music education in disadvantaged U.S. public schools. The idea is to paint a Fender Stratocaster guitar and donate it to an auction to raise money for the organization.

In 2019, Juliette starred in the film Ma which was a box-office success. The film had a grossing of over $60 million worldwide and was nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Thriller Film. She later appeared as a guest star on Hulu’s biographical crime series The Act which premiered in March of the same year.
In the summer of 2019, Juliette appeared in the Tate Taylor film Breaking News in Yuba County. Her most recent work was in 2022 when she appeared in the Showtime thriller series Yellowjackets.

While Juliette filmed the movie Kalifornia, she was in a relationship with Brad Pitt since 1990. Their performance was rated as convincing and harrowing, the couple separated the year of the film’s release. In later interviews, they both revealed that they would always love each other. In 1993, she dated co-stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Michael Dewitt, not at the same time, but both relationships only lasted a couple of months.
In the latter year, there were rumors swirling around Hollywood that she had hooked up with Johnny Deep. The two didn’t confirm anything but they seemed rather close and fans went wide with all the red carpet photos. Her most recent relationship is with Brad Wilk. The couple has been in a long-term relationship since April 2016.

The first film that ever gained her critical recognition was her role in the television series I Married Dora in 1987-1988.
