With over 100 million copies sold, The Hobbit is easily one of the best-selling books of all time. It tells the story of how Bilbo Baggins, the hobbit, joins Gandalf the wizard, and thirteen dwarves on a quest to claim back the dwarves’ treasure and home.

4. The Harry Potter Series by J.K.Rowling
It is a series of seven novels all based on the life of a young wizard named Harry Potter and his friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. The books are based at Hogwarts School at Witchcraft and Wizardry. The first novel in the series was Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone which was published in 1997.

Commonly known as Alice in Wonderland, was labeled as one of the best works of Victorian literature. It has been translated into 174 languages and has been adapted for musicals, and films. The book revolves around a young girl named Alice who falls into a rabbit hole and finds herself in a magical world filled with wonderful people and animals.
6. A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin
It is the first novel in A Song of Ice and Fire series. It won the Locus Award and was nominated for both the Nebula and World Fantasy Awards in the same year. The book introduces the stories of noble houses such as Westeros, the Targaryens, and the Wall. The book was adapted into the famous series Game of Thrones. It is filled with emotional drama, fierce battles, and political intrigue.
7. A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K. Le Guin

It is the first book in a planned trilogy. The book is based on Zelie Adebola and her journey to restore magic to the kingdom of Orisha.
