Keith Flint was an English musician, dancer, and singer-songwriter who rose to fame as the frontman of the electronic music band Prodigy. Keith Charles Flint was born on 17th September 1969 in Redbridge, Essex England to Yvonne and Clive Flint who was an engineer. When Keith was younger, he was an energetic, unconventional, and disruptive kid who mostly felt misunderstood. He became rebellious and so he was frequently getting in trouble which led to clashes with authority figures like parents and teachers. For this reason, his childhood was largely unhappy. He would later overcome these challenges and difficulties of his early years. 

2. He Was Expelled From School When He Was 15 Years Old   

Keith Flint’s formal education was relatively brief. He attended Boswells School in Chelmsford, Essex, but struggled academically due to dyslexia and disruptive behavior. At the age of 15, he was expelled from school because of his ill manners. Though his education was cut short, he was determined and so this did not hinder his success, but instead fueled his determination to pursue his artistic ambitions. Even though he had been battling depression and other problems, his tragic end still came as a shock and rocked both his inner circle and fans alike. His funeral was a private ceremony at St Mary’s Church, Bocking, 3 weeks later.  

An autopsy found the cause of death to be hanging. Traces of cocaine, alcohol, and prescription drugs were also found in his system. His untimely death led to an outpouring of support from the local community and Prodigy fans worldwide.
