Toadsworth who is an elderly Toad character is Princess Peach’s steward who ensures her safety and is also the prime caretaker for the Toads. Captain Toad acts as the explorer and leader of the Toad Brigade.

Birdo is a playable anthropomorphic dinosaur character who wears a red bow on her head and is able to fire eggs as projectiles through her round mouth. Pauline is the 12th primary protagonist.
