July is the 7th month of the year in the Julian and Gregorian calendars. It was named by the Roman Senate in honor of Roman general Julius Ceasar in 44 B.C. On average, it is the warmest month in most of the Northern Hemisphere and the coldest month in the Southern Hemisphere. The birthstone of July is the ruby which symbolizes contentment. 1. Alan Ruck
The American actor was born on July 1, 1956. He is the best known for his roles in John Hughes’s film Ferris Bueller’s Day Off in 1986. His other notable roles include Three Fugitives, Speed, Bad Boys, Young Guns, and Twister. Alan’s first film was the 1983 drama film Bad Boys in which he played Carl Brennan.
In 1984, He married Claudia Stefany and they have two children. They divorced in 2005, and Alan remarried in 2008 to actress Mireille Enos. The couple has two children together, Vesper and Larkin.
2. Albert Lance
His full name is Lancelot Albert Ingram and professionally known as Albert Lance was born on July 12, 1925, born in Medindie, South Australia. He was an Australian tenor during the 1950s and then he chose to enjoy the rest of his successful career in France. He made his debut in 1950 at the Melbourne Opera. Some of his famous leads were Cavaradossi in Tosca, Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly, Rodolfo in La Boheme, and The Tales of Hoffmann.
In 1961, he made his American debut at the San Francisco Opera with the creation of Norman Dello Joio’s Blood Moon. He later appeared in Los Angeles and Philadelphia.
From 1973 to 1977, Alan became a permanent member of the Opera national du Rhin in Strasbourg. After his retirement, he began to teach full-time at the Music Conservatory of Nice and later at Antibes.
3. Ben Burtt
He was born on July 12, 1948. He is an American film director, sound designer, editor, voice actor, and screenwriter. His credits as a sound designer include the Star Wars and Indiana Jones film series, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Star Trek, Invasion of the Body Snatcher, and WALL-E. In the latter animation film, he also performed the vocalizations of the titular character as well as other robots in the film.
Benjamin has won four Academy Awards, two of which are Special Achievement Academy Awards. He is also noted as the director of numerous documentary films and as the editor of the Star Wars prequel trilogy.
4. Bill Bradley
He was born on July 28, 1943. Bill is an American politician and former professional basketball player. He served three terms as a Democratic U.S. senator from New Jersey from 1979 to 1997. Bill ran for the Democratic Party’s nomination for president in the 2000 election but he lost to Vice President Al Gore.
When he was younger, he excelled in basketball and was an all-county and all-state basketball player in high school. He was offered 75 college scholarships but he ended up attending Princeton University. In 1965, he won a gold medal as a member of the 1964 Olympic basketball team.
5. Craig Morgan
was born on July 17, 1964, he is an American country music artist. Craig’s career began in 2000 when he released his self-titled debut album through Atlantic Records. In 2002, he moved on to Broken Bow Records where he released three studio albums.
His song That’s What I Love About Sunday spent four weeks at the top of the Billboard country charts and held Number 1 on the Billboard Year-End chart. Craig has charted seventeen times on the Billboard country charts. His singles, Redneck Yacht Club, International Harvester, Almost Home, Little Bit of Life, Love Remembers, and Bonfire reached the same chart’s top ten.
6. Doug Collins
He was born on July 28, 1951, he is an American basketball executive, former player, coach, and television analyst in the National Basketball Association. From 1973 to 1981, he played in the NBA for the Philadelphia 76ers and earned four NBA All-star. In 1986, he became an NBA coach and coached the Chicago Bulls, Detroit Pistons, Philadelphia 76ers, and Washington Wizards.
Doug was an analyst for various NBA-related broadcast shows. He is also the recipient of the Curt Gowdy Media Award.
7. Elizabeth Berkley
She was born on July 28, 1974, she is an American actress. She is known for her roles as Jessie Spano in the series Saved by the Bell and Poly Ann Costello in the 1995 Paul Verhoeven film Showgirls. Elizabeth is also known for her voice acting in the anime film Armitage III: Poly-Matrix and for several supporting roles in The First Wives Club and Roger Dodger. Elizabeth received critical acclaim for her performance in Hurlyburly.
8. Eiichi Ohtaki
The Japanese musician was born on July 28, 1948, he was a Japanese musician, record producer, singer, and songwriter. He was known as a member of the rock band Happy End but was widely known for his solo work which began in 1972. In 2003, Eiichi was ranked by HMV Japan at number 9 on their list of the 100 most important Japanese pop acts.
His work was recorded as an encyclopedia of everything that was great about pop music in the 20th century.
9. Heather Langenkamp
She was born on July 17, 1964, he is an American actress. Heather is an influential figure in horror films and in popular culture, she is known for acting in several works for the genre and for her behind-the-scenes. Heather was established as a scream queen and was added to the Fangoria Chainsaw Hall of Fame in 1995. Heather is also adored by horror fans for her work in coordinating prosthetic makeup.
10. Jeremih
Jeremy Phillip Felton professionally known as Jeremih was born on July 17, 1987. He is an American singer, record producer, and songwriter. His debut single Birthday Sex peaked at number four on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. His self-titled debut album which was released in June of that year reached number six on the US Billboard 200 chart.
His single Down on Me which featured 50 Cent also reached the top five of the Billboard Hot 100. His other single Don’t Tell Em became his third top-ten hit on the Billboard Hot 100, the song also became the lead single for his third studio album.
