Lewis Hamilton might be one of the most successful and famous Formula 1 driver of his generation, but that doesn’t mean everyone knows every detail of the British driver.

Even though his life has been highly publicized, Lewis Hamilton has tried to keep many aspects of his personal life the same and focus on his racing career.

1. Lewis is Religious

Sometimes Lewis Hamilton may seem a bit silly for the image of a young racing driver, but the British megastar is a very religious person.

Hamilton’s family were devout Catholics at home. So he wears the cross around his neck to maintain contact with God for all races, even today.

5.Lewis Hamilton dominated the junior series

Hamilton appeared as “XNDA” on the song “Pipe” from Christina Aguilera’s 2018 album Liberation. Hamilton raps on a track, a short passage he wrote and recorded in two hours (obviously) that he posted on Instagram.

Lewis said”The goal was to release the music under a different title so that people would hear the music first and know it was me, but it didn’t go as planned.”

7. Hamilton fitness regime

You might think that being a race car driver means sitting a lot, wearing fancy helmets and having incredibly hard eardrums. But Hamilton insists he follows a strict training schedule that includes a 6am jog and a 2pm gym workout to strengthen neck muscles that need to be strong due to the overload of the F1 car.

This includes wearing the helmet during the workout and packing the weights during the workout. Hamilton has been known to wear it to bed to increase his neck strength.

8.He’s A Movie Star

Some may not know that Lewis Hamilton actually had a career in Hollywood, played a character in Disney Pixar’s Cars 2 and that Hamilton was voted to represent England at the World Grand Prix.

Pixar wanted a legitimate driver in the film and wanted to give nods and nods to F1 fans, and Hamilton was happy to join Michael Caine and Owen Wilson.
