Jeff Molina is an American-born and raised professional mixed martial artist (MMA) who has competed at the top level of the flyweight category. The twenty-five years old fighter was born in Kansas City, Missouri in the United States of America where he began his high-flying fighting career.

Becoming one of the most famous fighters in the world comes with a lot of attention and Molina has received more than enough around the world. Too much attention has led to fans asking him personal questions including questions about his gender identity and sexuality. He did not hesitate stating that he is bisexual.

Even though Jeff Molina states that his coming out was untimely, he admits that he has been bisexual all his life. However, he had decided to stay in the closet as his career was on the rise, and would not want to lose the fan base for coming out. His plans were cut short by one person who decided that it was about time the world knew who Jeff Molina is.

A fan posted a video of Jeff Molina with another man in awkward positions which forced the MMA star to come out as bisexual. 鈥淣ot the way I wanted to do this but the chance to do it when I was ready was taken away from me. I鈥檝e tried to keep my dating life private from social media,鈥� he responded in the video on Twitter.

Jeff Molina has previously hinted about being bisexual but many people did not notice. He has used shorts with the rainbow flag in some of his UFC fights indicating his fluid sexuality. You needed to be one of his closest friends to realize that he is bisexual.

Another reason that made Jeff Molina delay his coming out as bisexual was the fear to be abandoned by his friends. 鈥淭he thought of my buddies, teammates, and (people) I look up to looking at me differently let alone treating me differently for something I can鈥檛 control was something I couldn鈥檛 fathom,鈥� he added in his post on Twitter after coming out.

Jeff had plans to show the world and his fans what they needed to see. He only wanted to show his skills in fighting and entertain his fans on the big stage. The untimely coming out, however, did not destroy him. Despite condemning the person who posted the video online, Jeff Molina says that he has received both hate and love in equal measures and he doesn鈥檛 regret his decision to come out.

Jeff Molina has previously dated women and despite being bisexual, he still feels that he is a strong and masculine man. He explains that being bisexual would sometimes be confused with being gay. 鈥淚 wanted to be known for my skills and what I鈥檝e dedicated the last 11 years of my life to not and not the 鈥渂i ufc fighter鈥� that I鈥檓 sure would just be translated to 鈥済ay UFC fighter,鈥� he said in a tweet.

Jeff was later on suspended on allegations of engaging in unlawful betting on UFC matches but remains one of the toughest guys in the sport.
