Deezy has been a Samoan American rapper from San Jose. He became a prominent rapper on the West Coast, including the New Zealand Markets with his hit single ”I Don’t See Nothing Wrong”.

Drew signed with 454 Life Entertainment in 2010 and appeared on the compilation album “As Real As It Gets.” He was featured in Rip It Up magazine’s July 2011 issue.  He also coaches at San Jose Hitsquad.

 Sultan Bank who was 1979 was an American hip-hop producer from San Jose. He was better known as Traxamillion.  The Slapp Addict was his first album which was a compilation of Bay Area hyphy artists and was released in 2006. He has produced records like Keak da Sneak’s ‘ super hype and Dem Hoodstarz’s” Grown man remix”.

Traxamillion signed with 454 Life Entertainment in 2010 after producing the label’s second single “We Get Money,” featuring Drew Deezy and Thai VG. He went on to produce the majority of the compilation album “As Real As It Gets” for the label.

5. Sean Bonniwell

Thomas Harvey was also known as Sean Bonniwell. He was an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist who was born in San Jose. Sean was known for his creative force behind the 1960s garage rock band, the Music Machine.

Bonniwell was described as saying “Rock and roll was a teenager in the ’60s, and I exploited that milieu to express my frustration, my rage, at the injustice of the world” in Richie Unterberger’s 1998 book Unknown Legends of Rock ‘n’ Roll.

Ashlyn Rae Willson who is best known as Ash has been an American singer and songwriter. Her 2019 single Moral for the story made her recognized. It was featured in the Netflix film ‘ To All the Boys; P.s. I still love you which was produced by Noah Conrad and additional production by Finneas O’Connell.

In addition, Ashe collaborated on the song “You Don’t Do It for Me Anymore” by Demi Lovato in 2017. Ashe has also toured with Louis the Child, Lauv, and Whethan.

Her collaboration with Shaun Frank on the gold-certified track “Let You Get Away” earned her a Juno Award nomination. On May 7, 2021, her first studio album, Ashlyn, was released. On October 14, 2002, she released her second album, Rae.

7. Eric Kretz

Kretz is an American musician and producer,who was born in 1966 in San Jose California. He is best known as the drummer for the rock band Stone Temple Pilots. He is of German descent and also played for Talk show and Spiralarms.

Off of STP’s 1992 album Core, Kretz co-wrote the lyrics with lead singer Scott Weiland for the Grammy Award-winning hit song “Plush.”

Kretz has collaborated with a number of well-known musicians. Especially when it comes to engineering and mixing live recordings of songs by artists like Thom Yorke, Ben Harper, and Damian Marley. Also with Slayer, Jurassic 5, Death Cab for Cutie, and others for The Henry Rollins Show. The drummers who have most influenced Kretz include Bill Bruford, Neil Peart, and John Bonham. 

8.Ren’ee Elise Goldsberry

Elise is an American actress and singer who is known for originating the role of Angelica Schuyler in the Broadway Musical Hamilton. She was born in1971 in San Jose California. Renee won the 2016 Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in Musical.

She has played a variety of characters on television, such as Evangeline Williamson on One Life to Live. And also Geneva Pine on The Good Wife, for which she was nominated twice for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.

 Her portrayal in the Disney+ live stage recording of Hamilton, which was released in 2020, earned her a nomination for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Actress in a Supporting Role in a Limited Series or Movie that same year.

 Claudia Alexandra Madriz Meza is known by her stage name  Snow Tha Product. She is an American rapper and singer who was born in 1987 in San Jose. She had an Atlantic Records contract from 2012 to  2018.

Snow Tha Product has worked as an independent artist since. Her 2013 mixtape Good Nights & Bad Mornings 2: The Hangover and the 2018 compilation album VIBEHIGHER are two of her most well-known works.

Snow and Bizarrap worked together on “BZRP Music Sessions #39” in  2021.  Additionally, Snow affected the Queen of the South.  

10. Chris Cain

Chris Cain is an American blues musician who was born in1955 in San Jose. As a teenager, he started performing professionally in neighborhood clubs, at fairs, and at special occasions. He was a Pomona College student.

For his debut album, Late Night City Blues, Cain was nominated for four Blues Music Awards in 1987. Including Guitarist of the Year. His second album, Cuttin’ Loose, was released in 1990 when he signed with Blind Pig Records. Can’t Buy A Break and Somewhere Along the Way followed in 1992 and 1995, respectively.

More nominations were made in 2018, including those for Best Contemporary Blues Album for Chris Cain’s 2017 album, Guitarist of the Year at the Blues Music Awards, and Best Male Blues Artist at the Blues Blast Awards.
