Top 10 Facts about US Rappers Quavo

Quavious Keyate Marshall is a rapper from the United States. He is best known as the former frontman and co-founder of the hip-hop group Migos. Quavo is the uncle of late Migos member Takeoff and Offset’s cousin. He also has a stake in the FCF Glacier Boyz.

Apart from the Migos, Quavo has been featured on several U.S. top hits. He is considered the group’s glam and the closest thing to a modern-day rockstar. He has a golden touch when it comes to chart success, as he can propel a song to unfathomable heights by featuring it on a track.

However, here are some of the top 10 facts about US rapper Quavo you should consider knowing if you are his fan. They include  the following;

1. He has popped up on several top-ten hits in the U.S

Beyond the Migos, Quavo has appeared on several top ten hits in the United States, including Post Malone’s “Congratulations,” which was later certified Diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), and DJ Khaled’s “No Brainer” and “I’m the One,” both of which peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100.  Quavo Huncho, his debut solo album, debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 in 2018.

2. He’s had several run-ins with the law

Most fans are already aware that each member of Migos was arrested during a concert in April 2015 and charged with drug, firearm, and marijuana possession. The majority of these charges were dropped, and Quavo was only fined for marijuana possession, but Offset was sentenced to 8 months in prison. Quavo has since been accused of robbing a famous jeweler named Eric the Jeweler at a Grammys after-party, but it turns out that the Migos star is most embarrassed by a crime he admits to committing when he was just 17. Quavo decided to steal $12 socks from Macy’s to prove that he was “hot,” even though he could have just paid for them.

3. He was named the most influential Rapper

Migos had only been on the scene for a short time in 2014, but Complex named Quavo the most influential rapper of the year. While Offset is widely regarded as the group’s best rapper, Complex argues that Quavo is more influential due to his rhythmic patterns, which helped popularize a new and distinct flow in the mainstream. Since the release of “Versace,” notable artists including Drake, Future, and even Kanye West have all used the same distinct triplet pattern that characterizes the majority of Quavo’s flow.

4. He has some extraordinary accessories

The Migos are known to travel with some unusual accessories, such as leather backpacks stuffed with cash, but Quavo, in particular, keeps some unusual items in his luggage. Most notably, he owns a couple of chains featuring two of his favorite characters – Remy from Ratatouille and Yoda from Star Wars – and he keeps an extra T-shirt around him in case he makes a mess while eating.

5. He has had a crush on Nick Minaj

Quavo and Nicki Minaj collaborated on the song “She For Keeps,” which was released as part of Quality Control’s compilation album Control the Streets Volume. During a romantic visit to a ’50s-style diner, the couple shares more than just food in the promo.

However, the Atlanta rapper had his sights set on Minaj long before that. Quavo revealed to Complex in 2014 that he had a crush on the “Super Bass” rapper, by describing her. The Migos rapper went on to describe Minaj in greater detail and explain why he likes her.

6. His Favorite Rapper Is JAY-Z

Despite regularly collaborating to create their collective sound, each member of Migos prefers a different rapper over the others. While Takeoff adores Kendrick Lamar and Offset adores André 3000, Quavo recently told NME that JAY-Z is the “greatest rapper right now.” Is there a chance that Quavo, who has four Top 10 singles on the Billboard Hot 100, will ever strike out on his own like his rap hero? The ties between the Migos rappers are stronger than most because of their family roots, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see Quavo leave the group, later on, channeling the energy fans have already heard in songs like DJ Khaled’s “I’m the One” and Drake’s “Bodak Yellow.”

7. He prioritizes his family

Every member of Migos is related in some way. Quavo and Offset are cousins, and Takeoff is Quavo’s nephew; the three grew up in Atlanta under the same roof. Regardless of how successful they become, each Migos member will always prioritize family. During an interview with the New York Daily News, Quavo revealed that if he ever became President of the United States, he would move his entire family into the White House on the first day, presumably dressed in Versace garb.

8. His Net worth

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Takeoff has a net worth of $26 million. According to the site, Quavo and Offset have the same net worth of $26 million, implying that the three members split their income equally. Migos, on the other hand, has an estimated net worth of $80 million.
