Brendon Urie is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. He is best known as a primary songwriter and as a multi-instrumentalist at Panic Disco, where he is the only member remaining.

Urie’s career started back when he was in high school when friends settled on him to be the band鈥檚 lead singer. Initially, Urie held the guitarist position. Urie appeared in several albums, musicals, movie soundtracks,  and more.

Brendon’s songs have achieved commercial success by reaching high spots on the Billboard charts and reaching millions of sales. His four-octave tenor vocal has made him popular.

Of his love to serve humanity, he launched a non-profit organization for human rights in 2018.

1. Urie Sang for Customers at a Cafe

Urie worked at a Tropical Smoothie Cafe in order to raise money to pay for his band’s practice space rent.

 While still serving his customers, he sang for them. While explaining his actions, he said that 鈥淚 would sing anything I was listening to at the time, but I was down to take requests. I remember singing some Scorpion songs, some W.A.S.P. 80s anthems are usually good for tips. It was a huge range of stuff. Some people liked it, and some people didn’t. I had to respect other people’s wishes, but I had a couple of people would ask me to sing for a tip. That’s always fun.鈥�

2. He Sang For Coca Cola Company

Urie was involved in a song in 2008, for the coca-cola company. The song was known as 鈥淥pen Happiness鈥�.

Brendon Urie sang the chorus of the song. The song also featured various singers such as,鈥� labelmate Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy, labelmate Travis McCoy of Gym Class Heroes, Cee-Lo Green, and Janelle Mon谩e.鈥�

The producer and the writer of the song were Butch Walker, the song was co-written by Cee-Lo Green, and it was remixed by Polow Da Don.

3. Urie Abandoned his Family’s Faith when he was 17 Years

Brandon was brought up by a family which had strong religious beliefs and belonged to the Church of Latter-Day Saints.

When he was still a teenager, Urie did not agree with his family’s ideologies and left the faith.

Although his move was viewed as a disappointment to most families, he stood firm and stated that 鈥� it鈥檚 the belief of the individual and their decision that needs to be respected.鈥�

Brendon Urie, just like most people, Brendon has suffered bullying. While still in high school,  Brendon was considered a spaz in high school and he always got teased for singing Disney songs.

Through his confidence to move on regardless of the hate he received from other people, he has made a triumphant turn. He has sung Disney’s Frozen 2. 

7. Brendon Urie Launched a Hope Foundation

Urie Launched one of the Highest Hopes Foundation in 2018. The main purpose of the foundation was to support other non-profit organizations which mainly prioritize human rights and also support communities that are discriminated against.

Brendon donated $1 million to officially start funding the foundation.

8. Urie has been diagnosed with ADHD

Urie disclosed to his fans his health conditions and revealed that he has been diagnosed with ADHD. However, he clarified that he was under medication.

The main reason why he disclosed this information to his fans is that he likes to be open about his mental health to his fans.
