The Best Caribbean Bars in Los Angeles

Caribbean cuisine is a fusion of African, Creole, Cajun, Amerindian, European, Latin American, Indian/South Asian, Afghan, Middle Eastern, and Chinese. These traditions were brought from many different countries when they came to the Caribbean.

 Therefore this article details the best Caribbean bar in Los Angeles. They include the following;

1. La Descarga

La Descarga was established in 2010 and was designed and owned by Houston Hospitality in Los Angeles, CA. Every speakeasy bar that is opened by the Houston Brother has its theme and different music. Therefore you should know that La Descarga has the greatest Latin Vibe, great music, a beautiful burlesque show with a great jazz band, friendly staff, and delicious unique drinks. It is also a rum and cigar bar reminiscent of Little Havana. However, this place is meant to socialize and dance the night away since it brings you to another world.

2. Cana Rum bar

Cana Rum bar is a unique place and it is a members-only bar because it is a private club. This makes sense here because rum pairs well with cigars and the theme are very Caribbean. Membership is $50 per person for the year and you can bring up to 3 guests. They also have very nice customer service. It is also somewhat geeky and has a dive bar. But somehow, despite the dark dive ambiance, this bar gets past that. Probably because it is purposeful and deliberate. The music fits, the bartenders are knowledgeable, and the suggestions are spot on! The dress is very casual.

However, it is a good place to get rum cocktails. 14-18$ for a drink and they are strong and still delicious. It’s dark inside with tons of tiki vibes.
