However, Sarah Paulson has never been afraid to speak about her fluid sexuality in the past. When she was interviewed by The People in 2016, the actress admitted being gender fluid.

The American Horror Story star told the People has been firm with her position under sexuality and gender identity as she feels there is no need to label herself. 鈥淎ll I can say is, I鈥檝e done both, and I don鈥檛 let either experience define me. I can meet a man tomorrow and fall in love with him and marry him and I wouldn鈥檛 discount any of the experiences that I鈥檝e had with women, or vice versa,鈥� she explained in the interview.

According to Paulson, one has full control of their life and must define who they are depending on their tastes and preferences. She is a strong-willed woman who walks by her rules and does not let society dictate the terms of living for her. 鈥淚鈥檝e always walked to the beat of my own drum,鈥� she said in the same interview with the People.

Sarah Paulson has had relationships in the past with both men and women. She is currently married to Holland Taylor. Their marriage spans back from 2015 and counting. Before getting married to Taylor, the American Crime Story star was in love with Cherry Jones with whom they parted ways back in 2009.

The famous actress confirmed her relationship with Taylor in an interview with The New York Times. When asked about her relationships, she explained why she would never let anyone decide what happens in her life. Becoming a successful actress was solely her effort and she fought and won against the negative forces of society’s expectations.

鈥淚f my life choices had to be predicated based on what was expected of me from a community on either side, that鈥檚 going to make me feel straitjacketed, and I don鈥檛 want to feel that,鈥� Paulson explained plainly in the interview. She has always been her motivation in every area of her life.
