The famous DJ has always been open about his sexuality whenever he came across the question in interviews or directly from fans. He has always been vocal and open about his sexuality stating that he is not gay, but he can鈥檛 rule out the possibility.

Diplo has been a friend to the LGBTQ+ community in the past and has coexisted and worked with gay and lesbian musicians for years. When he was interviewed by Emily Ratajkowski on her High Low podcast, the DJ had enough time to respond to questions about his sexuality. Diplo told Emily that he is not attracted to men but also revealed a few things about his experience with men. 鈥淚鈥檓 sure I鈥檝e gotten a blowjob from a guy before. For sure. 100%, yeah,鈥� he said in an interview. He added that despite his past sexual encounter with men, he doesn鈥檛 believe it made him gay.

Even though he does not identify as gay, he is open to dating a man. As Emily pressed him with more questions, the famous DJ and producer admitted that he does not entirely deny being gay. 鈥淚 think the best answer I have is I鈥檓 not 鈥�not gay.鈥� There are a couple guys I could date, life partner-wise,” he said. The statement would ordinarily put him in the queer category despite his consistent denial.

Diplo has initially been in a romantic relationship with Mathangi 鈥楳aya鈥� Arulparagasam, famously known as M.I.A. The DJ highly speaks of his former lover for exposing him to the music industry in the first years of his career.

He also has three sons from his previous relationships which makes it hard to say that he is gay. He had two sons with Kathryn Lockhart and another son with Jevon King.

However, DJ Diplo has stated in previous interviews that there are a lot of men who text him on Instagram, and in his opinion, they are 鈥榟ot guys.鈥� they are the kind of guys that he would date for a life partner.

However, Diplo made it clear that he is a man that goes for someone鈥檚 vibe rather than gender. He means that he would fall in love with any person, whether a man or a woman, as long as the person has a vibe that matches his.

Lastly, Diplo says that he grew up having gay friends and in high school, he felt that it was not normal. He thinks everything changed today and being gay is not a weird thing anymore.
