Jenna Ortega as the newest brand ambassador of Adidas’ new label in 50 years
Jenna Ortega has become one of the most talked about people and she is only getting started. The star is mostly known after starring in the major Netflix series, Wednesday. She has also starred in other famous films like You and Scream. She has made a lot of partnerships and one of her latest is her role as the new face of Adidas.
The partnership was announced on the 3rd of February 2023 and the actress posted on her Instagram wearing the brand’s sporty wear. Adidas is one of the biggest sportswear companies in the world which shows how Ortega’s career is impressive and more is yet to come.
In addition, Ortega is the first face of the brand’s new label in 50 years. She appeared in several promotional images for Adidas that were released to the public on Thursday. This Netflix new sensational is now part of the new clothing and footwear giant’s All That You Are campaign.
In the promotional campaign, she switched through three different outfits. The outfits included a purple tracksuit with a stark white button-up shirt and a black tie, a black tracksuit and matching pants with a pair of neutral-toned running shoes. In some of the photos, she is seen wearing her brunette hair in a ponytail with a pair of glasses while her hair just falls onto her shoulders.
The 20-year-old actress added in an interview that she did not expect to become the face of a major brand as Adidas Sportswear. She has a deep love for sportswear and she stated “To this day, so much of my wardrobe is made up of the iconic three stripes. I feel so honoured to become a part of this legendary family of change-makers and be the face of its all-new label.”
According to Adidas, the actress embodies the relentless pursuit of creativity on which the brand was founded over 70 years ago. Brian Grevy, Adidas Executive Board Member added, “At Adidas, we are constantly looking at ways we can push the boundaries in both sport and culture, it’s so exciting that we can announce Jenna Ortega has joined us, to launch our first new label in 50 years. A progressive and passionate next-generation pioneer that is making waves across the globe, her fresh and creative way of thinking is what we, as a brand, found ourselves on and continue to be inspired by.”
It is truly a big step for both Ortega and the brand as the label tries to ensure that the label is fashion-forward. The move to sign Ortega is already a remarkable step to achieve its goal of capturing Generation Z consumers and with Jena’s individuality and creativity, it’s a match made in heaven.
