Fans concerned after Wednesday star, Jenna Ortega posts a graphic selfie on Instagram covered in blood.

Is Jenna Ortega dark and twisted?

The 20 year old Wednesday star, Jenna Ortega, raised concerns after posting a graphic selfie covered in blood on Wednesday on her Instagram account. To everyone’s relief, Jenna’s neck only had artificial blood on it following her role as a brand spokesperson for Neutrogena. Some of Jenna’s admirers and fans were concerned as one fan asked, “Is that blood?” Another asked, “I believed it was genuine, I was afraid.”

There have been previous concerns as to whether Jenna is creative or just dark and twisted. Many have noticed her consistent feature in horror films. Some of her favourite horror films include, X, Scream, You and The Babysitter: Killer Queen. Her recent role was as Tara Carpenter in the sequel Scream 6 which she absolutely nailed.

The Instagram photos of herself using Neutrogena’s “ultra-soft cleansing towelettes,” the company’s makeup remover wipes. She used the wipes to clean her neck and the post has garnered several likes. She then captioned the photo with the phrase, “Without fail @neutrogena.”

So is she just then dark? I think she is just being creative, unlike other brand ambassadors. She is unique and she owns it. Let the girl breath she is just having fun with her posts, what you call thinking outside the box.

Coincidentally this is not the first time for the actress to come in contact with fake blood, I mean it comes with the job.  She auditioned for the Wednesday part with a scar from her previous role in X as Lorraine.

In the movie X, Jenna Ortega portrayed Lorraine, a young lady who accompanied the cast and crew of an adult movie since she was dating the director RJ (Owen Campbell). After filming a sequence in which her X character, Lorraine, was shot in the head, Jenna ended up with a real cut from the prosthetic bullet wound she wore for the scene. In reality, the Neutrogena brand ambassador was still filming X in New Zealand when she hopped on Zoom to try out for the Wednesday part and she appeared the session wearing all of the makeup from the shoot, including fake blood.

Enough of the bloody scene, the actress also gave a sneak peak to behind-the-scenes pictures from her Saturday Night Live hosting debut. The photos are of Jenna getting dressed in her SNL dressing room with a glam squad. Ortega captioned her three photos, “Backstage at snl,” and thanked her hair and makeup artists.

As she prepped for her big night, which ended up being a huge success for the young actress, Jenna seemed at ease with her glam squad. I must say they did a wonderful job adorning her with a brilliant red flower on her lapel and nodded to Wednesday’s gothic style with dark, translucent black clothing.

In addition to posting the pictures from SNL behind the scenes, Jenna Ortega also uploaded a sweet and cute childhood picture to her Instagram Story. She looked adorable. Let the rumours rest the Neutrogena brand ambassador, is not hurt or twisted, it was just fake blood. Now we know what is the actress’ go to product when removing make up and other beauty products.
