Anthony Frank Hawk, also known as Birdman, is an American professional skateboarder, businessman, and proprietor of the Birdhouse skateboard brand. Hawk was born on May 12, 1968. Hawk was a forerunner of contemporary vertical skating and performed the first known “900” trick in 1999. In the same year, Activision released a series of skateboarding video games with his name on them. He is regarded as one of the most important skateboarders of all time and gave up professional competition in 2003.

Throughout his career, Hawk has participated in a number of charitable endeavors. He founded the Tony Hawk Foundation, which is now known as The Skatepark Project, which aids in the construction of skateparks in underdeveloped regions all over the world.

Eddie Jerome Vedder is one of three guitarists and the lead vocalist for the rock band Pearl Jam. He was born Edward Louis Severson III on December 23, 1964. He had previously performed as a guest vocalist with the Andrew Wood homage band Temple of the Dog, a supergroup.

According to a Rolling Stone reader survey, Vedder, who is renowned for his strong baritone voice, was placed sixth on the list of “Best Lead Singers of All Time”.[4]

Vedder’s debut solo album was made available in 2007 as part of the soundtrack for the movie Into the Wild. He co-starred with Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday (1953) and Ava Gardner in The Snows of Kilimanjaro (1952).

A former professional basketball player and American television sportscaster, William Theodore Walton III was born on November 5, 1952. He competed in college basketball for Coach John Wooden’s UCLA Bruins, leading them to two NCAA titles and an 88-game winning streak while winning three straight national collegiate Player of the Year awards (1972–1974).

Walton led the Portland Trail Blazers to an NBA championship in 1977 after being picked with the first overall pick in the 1974 NBA draft, winning the NBA Finals Most Valuable Player Award in the process. As a member of the Boston Celtics in 1986, he captured a further NBA championship. In 1993, Walton was honored by being inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

7. Burt Bacharach

Burt Freeman Bacharach, who was born in the United States on May 12, 1928, and died on February 8, 2023, is considered one of the most significant and influential figures in 20th-century popular music. He began writing pop songs in the 1950s and eventually produced hundreds of them, frequently with lyricist Hal David.

Because of his jazz training, Bacharach’s music is distinguished by odd chord progressions, shifting time signatures, and unusual instrument choices for small orchestras. For the most part, he produced, directed, and organized his recorded work.

He was born on May 9, 1960, and passed away on June 16, 2014. Eight batting titles, equal for the most in National League (NL) history, were won by left-handed hitter Tony Gwynn during the course of his career. He is one of baseball’s best and most reliable hitters ever.
