Great Van Fleet is a hard rock band that was formed in 2012. It has been in play for ten years and their name is based on their hometown in Frankenmuth, Michigan given this is where they are from. Their genre of music is a modern take on classic rock, inspired by Led Zeppelin. They are however not limited to this sound as they mix it up with a little bit of the 70s heavy rock and blues to create a unique sound of their own. 10. Built By Nations- 2021

Another epic song by Greta Van, this song released in 2021 starts off with a distinctive electric guitar melody fused with a crashing beat that once again takes you back to the 70s. The lyrics talk about a soldier who is walking the battlefield, otherwise known as the ‘devil’s road.’ The soldier may be battling so much, whether physical or mental and hence why he’s walking up that road. To redeem himself. Just like many other Greta Van Fleet songs, the meaning is ambiguous and left open for interpretation but a beautiful one nevertheless.
