The American Banjo Museum in Oklahoma City is dedicated to the history of the banjo. The museum’s exhibits document the rise of the banjo from its arrival in North America via the Atlantic slave trade to modern times.
The American Banjo Museum contains over 300 banjos on display and is the only museum of its type dedicated to preserving and promoting the music and heritage of America’s native musical instrument – the banjo.
8. Oklahoma Railway Museum
The Oklahoma Railway Museum’s mission is to provide an educational experience of railroads and how they shaped Oklahoma and the Nation. There’s something for Everyone! You will see freight cars, passenger cars, and even a real steam engine on display.
The museum is open every Thursday, Friday, & Saturday 9:00 to 5:00. Admission to the museum is free. Trains operate on the first and third Saturdays of the month, April through August. 9. Scissortail Park
Scissortail Park is a 70-acre urban oasis extending from the core of downtown Oklahoma City to the shore of the Oklahoma River. Scissortail Park features a variety of engaging experiences for visitors.

10. Arcadia Lake
