1. Sleeping Beauty
It is a fairytale that tells the story of Princess Aurora, a girl who is given gifts by three good fairies but is also cursed to prick her finger on her 16th birthday. When she turned 16, she pricked her finger and fell into a deep sleep that could only be broken by a true love’s kiss.
When Aurora awakened, she falls in love with Prince Phillip who happens to be her true love. They get married and live happily ever after. The book teaches children about the power of love.
2. Cinderella
It is a fairytale about a young woman who is mistreated by her stepmother and her stepsisters. The story begins with Cinderella a kind-hearted woman who talks to mice and birds. When an invitation to a ball at the palace arrives, Cinderella wishes to go but her stepsisters ruin her dress and leave her crying in the garden. Just as all hope is lost, her fairy godmother helps Cinderella transform into a beautiful princess with glass slippers.
When she attends the ball, the prince instantly falls in love with her and asks her to dance with him. However, Cinderella must leave the ball before midnight but, she leaves behind one slipper. The prince vows to find her and marry her. Like all Disney books, they have a happily ever after.
3. Pinocchio
It is a book based on the 1883 Italian children’s novel. It is based on Pinocchio, a wooden puppet who is carved by Geppetto, a kind and elderly woodcarver. Due to the fact that Geppetto has no children, he strongly wishes that Pinocchio could be a real boy. When his wish is granted by a Blue Fairy, Pinocchio becomes a boy but his nose becomes longer whenever he tells a lie.
However, Pinocchio must prove himself to be a brave, truthful, and unselfish boy before he becomes a real boy. The story of Pinocchio has been described as a classic tale of good versus evil. It teaches children the importance of making the right decision.

4. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
It is a classic tale of Snow White, a girl who is noted as the most beautiful girl in the land. Due to her title, her stepmother despises it and exiles her to the forest. While in the forest, she comes across a cottage that is home to seven dwarfs who mine for jewels in the mountains.
When the Evil Queen, her stepmother, finds out that she is still alive, she disguises herself to look like an old woman and tricks Snow White to eat a poisoned apple. The only way Snow White can awaken is if she is kissed by her one true love. Snow White is awakened from her sleep by a kiss from Prince Charming.
5. Dumbo
A young elephant is born with abnormally large ears. One day when Dumbo was playing with a group of clowns, he fell from a high platform and discovered he has the ability to fly. From that moment on, he is called Dumb the Flying Elephant. Slowly, he becomes the main attraction in the circus.

6. Bambi
It is a book about Bambi, a young deer who was born in the forest. He is a curious and playful deer who loves to explore the forest. When his mother is shot dead, Bambi has to learn how to fend for himself in the forest. He and his friends learn that humans are very dangerous. Later on in the book, Bambi meets Faline and they fall in love and get married. They live happily in the forest.
7. Alice in Wonderland
In this fairytale, nothing is as it seems. When Alice follows a white rabbit down a deep hole, she finds herself in a strange and wonderful world that is known as Wonderland, a world where everything is possible. While in Wonderland, Alice is introduced to strange yet wonderful creatures including Mad Hatter, and the Queen of Hearts.
Some of the adventures that Alice has in Wonderland include having a tea party with the Mad Hatter and playing croquet with the Queen of Hearts. When Alice wakes up in her own bed, she is left to wonder whether it was real or Wonderland is nothing but a dream.
8. Peter Pan
In a faraway land known as Neverland, lives a boy known as Peter Pan. In this magical land, children never grow old and have adventures every day. Peter Pan is friends with the Lost Boys, a group of boys who came to Neverland but never went back home. Every day is filled with flying around Neverland and playing games. However, things change when Peter Pan meets Wendy Darling.
Wendy is so fascinated with the stories of Neverland that she begs him to take her. In Neverland, Wendy is the mother of the Lost Boys and she spends her days telling them stories and singing songs. Every boy in the land grows up except for Peter Pan who refuses to grow up.
9. The Aristocats
It is a book based on a wealthy cat named Duchess and her three kittens Marie, Berlioz, and Toulouse. When she and her kittens are kidnapped by Edgar Balthazar, the butler of their owner. Thomas O’Malley, a stray cat, rescues them and takes them to his home in the alley. While staying there. Duchess and her kittens meet Scat Cat, a jazz musician, Roquefort, a cheese-loving mouse, and Madame Adelaide’s maid, Marie.
When they all go back to Âé¶¹APP, Madame Adelaide invites Thomas and his friends to stay with her in her house and they all live happily ever after.
10. The Little Mermaid
It is a story about a young mermaid, Ariel, who dreams of becoming human. One night, she goes above water and catches a glimpse of Prince Eric. When their ship catches fire, Ariel saves Prince Eric and takes him back to shore. From that moment, her desire to become human is stronger than before. The sea witch Ursula gives Ariel legs in exchange for her melodious voice.
Ariel is given three days to receive a true love’s kiss or she becomes Ursula’s slave for eternity. However, Ursula disguises herself as a beautiful woman and casts a spell on Eric that makes him fall in love with her. By the end of it all, Eric realizes that he loves Ariel and they live happily ever after.
