Mel B鈥檚 Sexual Identity: Is She Gay, Bi, Straight? Exploring the Truth

She has been an exciting person since leaving the band and continues to hit the headlines for different reasons including her supposed bisexuality. Mel B may have been married to a man with whom they have children together but she has also admitted having sexual relations with women in the past.

When she was on a television interview with Piers Morgan in 2019, Mel B admitted to having a sexual encounter with one of her bandmates, Geri Halliwell. Mel B was asked about her friendship with Geri, and even though she was reluctant, she admitted that they had slept together. Mel B had been attracted to her bandmate during their music career.

鈥淪he鈥檚 going to hate me for this because she鈥檚 all posh in her country house and her husband. But it鈥檚 a fact. It just happened and we just giggled at it and that was it,鈥� she said in the interview, clearing up all the doubt and rumors about her sexuality.

However, Mel B鈥檚 fling with Geri was part of her previous encounters with female friends as she also fell in love with another woman. She said that she was in love with a woman for more than three years before she met her lovely husband.

Mel B clarifies that her romantic relationship with a woman was not a phase or an experiment. She says that she was truly in love and wishes that one of her daughters grows to embrace her bisexuality.

The singer got married to Stephen Belafonte with whom they have four children after parting ways with her first husband Jimmy Gulzar.

When Mel B became a global topic of discussion in the early 2000s, she was not ashamed to face the media and let everyone know who she was. She was in a relationship with her girlfriend Christine Crokos the two were caught on camera kissing. Mel B defended her position as a bisexual as she was attracted to both men and women.

鈥淧eople call me lesbian, bisexual, or heterosexual, but I know who鈥檚 in my bed and that鈥檚 it鈥� I have a huge libido and a great sex life,鈥� Mel B said in the interview with Howard Stern. She candidly spoke about her relationships with women despite falling in love with men as well.

Mel B was also in a relationship with another woman, Christa Parker, for more than five years. The actress is an open-minded woman who speaks openly about anything even if it would become controversial.

While on the interview, Mel B admitted having a sexual attraction to her bandmates as she said she had kissed all of them. 鈥淚 got my tongue pierced and I wanted to try it out so I kissed all of them,鈥� she said in the interview.

While most of her relationships with women did not last long, she believes they were not experiments. She admits to being bisexual.
