Denis Alexandrivich Shaforostov who is popularly known by his stage name Denis Stoff is a Ukrainian singer. He is best known for his work as a guitarist and vocalist of the Ukrainian metalcore group, Make Me Famous.

Denis was born on the 4th day of May 1992 in Khartsyzk, Donetsk, Ukraine. His parents’ names are Nataliia Shaforostov and Oleksandr Shaforostov.

Denis developed an interest in music at a very tender age which made his parents encourage him to take guitar lessons. The parents of Denis Stoff also supported him in his talent and never left him out after he decided to drop out of school and pursue music.

Denis came to the limelight and got the attention of people when he posted vocal and guitar cover videos of songs on his YouTube channel. His YouTube channel goes by the name ‘above92.’

After his many videos, Denis was tracked by several music labels and also gained more popularity and fame on YouTube. He boasts 82K subscribers and a total count of more than fifteen million views.

His music career with some bands was not that successful as he was the lead vocalist of the British rock band Asking Alexandria. This was during original singer Danny Worsnop’s 18-month hiatus from the band.

The band was formed in 2010 with members Serj and on unclean vocals, Dusty Boles on drums and Igor Yestrebov on guitar. Originally, the band gained recognition on YouTube where Denis Stoff had previously released his covers.

They released their debut album, ‘It’s Now or Never in March 2012 via Sumerian Records. This album got charted in the US top 200 and peaked at 151.

Denis did not last long in the band as he quit in late 2012. The group officially disbanded after their headlining tour in early 2013.

Immediately after he quit from Make Me Famous band, Denis Stoff moved on very quickly. He announced a new band known as Down & Dirty.

The Down & Dirty band was officially announced under the Sumerian label as the first band. Their first single and music video was released in December 2013. The band also released a second single and music video the following year in December.

Denis, later on, announced he would be joining Asking Alexandria which was followed by Down & Dirty. He got a major role while in this band.

8. He has Featured in Several Songs of Different Bands

Denis Stoff is a renowned artist who has worked alongside several bands in his career. His first band was Make Me Famous which he left and has featured in several other songs over the years.

Some of these songs include ‘Limitless’ from the EP of the American rock band ‘Crown the Empire, OIMATEWTF of the Australian metalcore band Capture the Crown and several others. His style has always been attractive and entertaining.
